The box is sturdy once built, and can hold a lot, but the included instructions are not great. The pictures are small and they either explain things poorly or not at all in several spots. If you watch the videos they direct you to in the instruction book, you'll have a much easier time of things. Also, be prepared to go "wait, what?? Why did you set it up like THAT?? a lot when you're building this. Some of the construction decisions are a little weird. Side note: I built mine alone, so it can definitely be done solo, but it would be easier if you get the second person to help that they reccomend. My main problem was just the bad directions and too much plastic flashing blocking holes that screws or tabs needed to fit in. Overall, I think the deck box is fine, and I'm happy with it. It just has crappy assembly instructions and is maybe a little pricier than it really needs to be for the quality of the plastic and difficulty of assembly. If you have the money to spare, maybe consider a higher-end version to save yourself a headache.

We have had this deck box for 10 to 15 years and I was hoping to get the metal replacement parts. All of the metal parts had rusted and corroded because we stored pool supplies and chlorine tablets in the box. The plastic pieces were still in excellent condition and I wanted to continue to use the box. I sent and email about getting replacement parts and I got them today. Yeah! Great company! Very responsive!

Buying this was an easy decision - I already have two of the larger 130 gallon ones outside on the patio - The oldest of which is 9 years old - still looking good and functioning well. Needed another smaller for inside the screened in porch. Size is perfect for that location and the construction and materials are just as good as the two larger ones. These are all very well made and go together quickly and easily. I'm sold on the quality of these "lifetime" products.

I bought a deck box a couple of years ago. It has held up very well. But, I keep my duck food & wild bird food in it. Evidently, the squirrels (or rats) figured out where the food was & chewed all around the lid trying to get into it. They didn't get in, but they chewed through the part with the hole in it that I used to keep the lock on it. I contacted the company asking if I could purchase just another lid for it. Brenna(Customer service) emailed me back & said they would send me a new replacement lid - at NO CHARGE! She said because there was a delay in getting right back to me - because of Covid - that they would send me one for FREE! Which they did - didn't even have to pay shipping!! GREAT PRODUCT & UNBEATABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The storage box is perfect for our patio storage needs. All items we need for the plants and foliage around the patio can easily be stored and quickly accessible during the summer. It is study and has a subtle appearance. I did add a gasket to avoid any moisture from collecting on the ledge between the lid and the box. It's perfect.

Very easy to assemble. It says 2 people to assemble but I was able to do it by myself. Instructions are ok. Just make sure you follow them "exactly" and don't over tighten the screws since it's plastic. I'm using it on a covered patio to store chair cushions.

Box looks like it was damaged during shipping. It took so long to get it that I couldn't bother to send it back for a new one. You'd think that for a good quality box like this the packaging would be a bit better.

Storage box is great. Only complaint is that the instructions for assembly were very confusing and there were more tools required than indicated. As a result, it took much longer to assemble the box than it should have,

when preparing to assemble the deck box I noticed that the back panel was misshaped and did not want to fit into the bottom panel, so I tried numerous times to contact Lifetime customer service but was unsuccessful at being able to talk with anyone. still hoping to eventually contact them, but until then I cannot recommend their product and probably won't purchase from the again.

This deck box is not a high glamor product; but it is serving us well to store buckets and various garden tools and stuff out of sight and rain. Be aware that assembly is not a simple 10-minute job. Although I encountered no show-stopping problems, it took me close to two hours. The instructions identify a socket wrench and power drill among the needed tools. Since there are many screws to drive into plastic, the wrench would definitely have sped things up; but it was not essential. In place of the drill I used a sharp-pointed awl in the plastic to make starter holes for the screws. There comes a point where you absolutely need another person to hold the cover in place while placing and driving the screws.

This was easy to assemble.

We also own the 130 gallon storage container and love it. We store pool floats in the large one and outdoor pillows for our gazebo in the smaller one. During the winter I store my small glass tables in the large one and other outdoor decor. They look great and keep the water and snow out too! Would highly recommended!

The base contains small holes that are shaped to allow “teeth” from the walls to slot in. These holes were not cut accurately. The teeth didn’t fit into them. When you applied any kind of pressure, the teeth bent and collapsed, rendering them useless.

Bought this (my second one) for the pool. Expect it will last as long as the first- over 15 years.

Product is easy to assemble and sturdy. It also keep the elements and insects away from the things you store in it.

I wanted a bench for my wife's garden that she could also use to store anything from garden tools to kids toys but it had to handle the weather. This fits the bill so far it's sturdy enough for me at 240 lbs to use as a bench and feels solid enough to withstand most. I'm not sure how waterproof it is yet haven't had any major storms yet. But so far it's great and does what I wanted it to do.
