both plastic covers broke cracked On both units one light a bulb needs adjustment to make sure it tight . I should had returned both but my seedlings were sprouting 300 plants 4 trays so I needed lights As far as light I make aluimium covers and the plants are growing

The plastic cover over the lights was difficult to remove and cracked when I did get it off to activate the lights. I ended up taping it together so that it wouldn't keep falling off. Be very careful when removing the light cover.

They work as expected, but I probably should have purchased the 4 bulb model to get more light on my plants.

The light itself is great. But if you have it shipped, be careful. The plastic light diffuser/cover had broken.

ordered on line and had to take back to home depot for refund. They were both damaged in the transportation. They did treat me very well with my refund. Just don't buy them on line.

The entire unit will not stay attached to the base when hung upside down. Very flimsy and not well made.

Both lights I ordered had shorts. They blew every GFI plug I put them into.

The light is fantastic my plants are growing nicely

I'm very happy with this product. Seems like just the right additional light for my succulents in a north facing window.

Bought this thinking I could use my own T5 bulbs (54W/each) but upon further reading, it appears that the fixture can only support 28W watt bulbs. for the price, you'd think they would of used a 54W ballast/bulbs as 28W is not enough for larger more mature plants. this fixture is good for starting off plants/seedlings when they are young, that's about it. returning for a different brand with higher output for a few dollars more.

The light works very nicely, I own 5 of them. The lenses are HORRIBLE! the last three that I bought have had broken lenses. 2 from mail order and one from the store. Customer service at the manufacturer is NO HELP AT ALL. They will not even sell spare lenses. This is poorly made, although they do work nicely.

Looks nice but over priced for what you get. Cheap material, I had to spread the pins where the bulbs plug in to get both to work. I think this is the one priced at $49 but isn't in stock nor can it be ordered. I wouldn't buy again.

Lens comes in crushed from banding. Ballast cover only attaches 3/4 of total length, pin connectors for lamp is twisted at connection point. Buyer needs to check what he's getting, verse what he was sold. The great part of the experience was the ease of returning to store for refund.

Arrived with lense damaged. I needed the light, so i use it without the lense, one socked was loose and the bulb would not stay in, bent that so it would retain the bulb.

We have a small indoor greenhouse made up of shelving and the grow lights. We have purchased 6 of these lights and are very happy with the results. We started seeds in March and are now ready to plant in the garden and yard.

The fixture insides are drooping on one side and I had to use duct tape to hold it together. I would have sent it back but my seeds have sprouted and I need it now!

I am very luke warm to this product. The ballast seemed to be held in by crimped metal which came undone. I inadvertently broke one of the bulbs and I could not get a replacement for this part through Home Depot. This is a mediocre product with inadequate support.

Took one back after the bulbs burned out in a week. Got the replacement one home, and the plastic coverings for the bulbs were both broken. I expect more for an $80 light. Should have bought the normal fluorescent fixture and 2 grow lamps and installed myself.

Excellent product to get your garden started. Easy to hang and easy to adjust as youor plants grow.

Excellent value and well made. The ability to piggy back is VERY helpful in the hothouse. The light covers are tricky to remove and install, otherwise this is an excellent product. My plants are thriving this winter!

The plastic bulb shield broke while trying to remove it so the packing around the lamp could be removed. The second side went OK.

The unit is good looking and is doing its job providing very good lighting for my plants. I removed the cover over the tubes since that gave me more light. I then used the cover as a baffle on the each side of the unit to prevent light from the tubes glaring into the rest of the room.

Easy to install and use, but removing the diffuser in order to remove the cardboard from the bulbs was difficult, and I cracked it. Product could definitely use better illustration/photo here or better yet, another type of attachment. Great to find the chains for hanging included in package!
