Read and follow the instructions and you will be pleased! This item comes compressed and vacuum sealed. Instructions in the box are very clear - open it up, lay it on a flat surface, and wait for 48 hours. See pictures in this review for the progression. I also included a picture of the shipping box so you can see the specific item ID and UPC. After sleeping on this for a few nights, I'm a satisfied customer. This 3" memory foam topper is firm, supportive, and comfortable. I do not sink through to my hard mattress. I like it, but realize mattress products are subjective to each person. Good luck!

You have to run your hands over the part that’s not expanded in like work with it mine wasn’t doing anything I run my hands over it and it was fully expanded in about five minutes and I was mind blown I found this hat on Google it really works my topper was a slide is a piece of paper and I was terrified It also looks like it was made for a twin and it literally grew big enough to fit a king which is what I ordered

Lucid Comfort Collection 3 Inch Gel and Aloe Infused Memory Foam Topper - Twin, Blue I have been using another 3” mattress topper for 6 years now. Deciding which one you like it is a very personal and subjective decision. What one person likes another may not. These are my thoughts on the Lucid Comfort Collection 3 Inch Gel and Aloe Infused Memory Foam Topper. It arrived in a box, tightly rolled up in plastic with all the air squeezed out of it. Yes a little stinky and kind of gross looking as you open it up. (See my photos) All the toppers are pretty much like that when they first arrive. I used the handy opener supplied by Lucid to cut and release the foam topper from its plastic shroud and spread it out on the floor to expand. Within about 2-3 hours it was at full flat size and thickness. I followed directions and left it for 48 hours to air out as it continued to dissipate the mild odor. After that I noticed just a slight odor left when held close to my nose, but it was now acceptable. (Eventually it all goes away in time.) I placed it on top of my mattress. I then put the bottom fitted sheet over the top of it and made the bed. I have slept on this for five nights so far. This topper is slightly more firm/dense than the one I previously have been using. It will gently cushion your shoulders, pointy elbows, knees, hips etc. Also gives a firm but cushiony flat surface for back support, but I didn’t sink into it. I missed the feeling of sinking in and being cradled within the Memory foam, but that’s me. If you prefer a more supportive topper that you lay on top of, instead of sinking into, this maybe what you’re looking for. I noticed just a slight amount of increased warmth from it, but not as much as my old one. That’s probably because you don’t sink into this one as much. It was very comfortable. I think the price point on this Memory foam topper is very reasonable for its level of comfort. I must admit though I don’t really understand the benefit of being “Aloe Infused”?

This arrived in a smaller package than I expected. Turns out it is vacuum sealed, all the air removed. A cutting tool is included to cut open the packaging safely, and then it needs to sit somewhere for 48 hours to fully expand again (Luckily I have a guest room I could lay it out in). You can see the changes in the attached photos. Once put on the bed, it is extremely comfortable. I have noticed that there is less movement when my partner gets up or rolls over, so I am not disturbed. Definitely feels 'cooler' when sleeping as well. I definitely feel like I am sleeping on a memory foam mattress, even though this is only a topper. Maybe because it is 3 inches thick? I think the thickness helps make it more comfortable. I have had a memory foam mattress in the past and this feels just as good

If you are a big fan of memory foam, then you will really like this topper. The 3” depth is plenty to give you that snug feeling that is typical of a good memory foam mattress without its expense. Laying on the topper, you gently settle into the foam and are supported by it. Movement is mostly restricted so there is hardly any tossing and turning while you sleep. We put ours on a standard “firm” type mattress to soften its feel, sort of like a “pillow top” padding would. It has provided an instant upgrade and new life to that bed.

The blue Lucid Comfort Collection 3-inch Gel and Aloe Infused Memory Foam in Queen-size Topper comes tightly rolled in a vacuum sealed plastic sack but, expands smoothly to fit the entire surface of a queen-sized bed. I laid the unrolled and unfolded sheet of blue memory foam over the bed’s mattress and watched it begin to expand. The topper was fully expanded about two hours later and the new foam aroma had completely dissipated. I was amazed, when I first laid on the bed, by the cool comfort and wrap-around support that the topper added. I am certainly going to enjoy a good night’s sleep on my plush, newly made over bed.

This is a great mattress memory foam topper. It is firm but comfortable. It is easy to install and the fitted bottom sheet still easily goes over it. It is true memory foam and does not crush down. I put is on a bed with an older mattress and it made the mattress feel new again. It is light weight but stays in place. It is a great addition to help you get a good night's sleep.

This 3" Lucid Comfort memory foam mattress topper is well made and has the perfect level of density for great support and relieving pressure points while sleeping. When pressure is released from the mattress, it quickly springs back. It made my spare twin bed much more comfortable. I like that it did not have a strong odor like some foam products have and the slight scent was gone after letting it air out (uncovered) for the day. This topper ships in a cardboard box and is vacuum packed into a roll about 20" x 11" and separated with a cloth-like material. (This makes it so much easier to transport.) Then I just had to place it on the bed and unwrap it so it could expand. On opening, it measured 36"x72" and did look a bit misshapen, but it only took a few minutes for it to fully expand and look perfectly even. It measured 38" x 74".

OMG! I'm sleeping like a baby now. I needed a topper for my firm twin mattress and saw this gem. Upon opening per the simple instructions, the topper was a pleasant blue color and right away I could feel the quality. My hand buried into the topper and quickly recovered. I knew this was a good sign. My topper had no unpleasant odors and fit my twin perfectly. Now after two nights all I can say is "WOW". My nights sleep went from tossing and turning to feeling rested. I could feel parts of my body sinking into this topper while not sinking into whole topper like most mattresses allow. What a difference this topper makes. I am 6 feet 210 lbs. and it supported me amazingly well. My advice is at this price point and value -buy it now if you are in the need of a better nights sleep. An amazing product! Put it in your cart before they sell out.

Talk about disappointment! I read some of the reviews and they were mixed, some were horrific while others were the extreme opposite. So I took my chance. When I opened the box I knew that I might be in trouble because it looked nothing like the pictures not even a little bit! Wrong color and definitely the wrong material. I was horrified even to the point of laughing out loud. My pictures don't do it justice. I almost threw it away. It is cut uneven on all sides the difference being about 1 - 3 inches and a half inches and at the top there are ripples in the material. The only thing that redeemed this product is that it is comfortable. Unfortunately I don't recommend because the pictures are VERY misleading and you don't get what you pay for!

Big things do come in small packages. Hard to believe that a twin size, three inch thick mattress topper, could come in such a small box. Instructions suggest forty-eight hours to fully open up. Like a slow flower. Hopefully the three inch thickness will help with my back on top of the old mattress. Not enough of these are offered in the twin size. I'm happy to give this a shot.

Upon receiving my Lucid Mattress Topper I noticed a few rips in it, but that doesn't diminish the quality of the topper itself. The topper is very soft and squishy. If you like a soft sleeping surface this is a great topper for you! I sleep only a few degrees warmer and ned only a light blanket now. My partner think we need a thinner topper, as his torso sinks into the topper and his legs float.

Having the same problem as everyone else apparently. Packaging says nothing about it being aloe infused and it’s not the same color as the one in the advertisement. I honestly don’t even know what it is. If it’s gel infused, ventilated, or anything that was advertised besides a hunk of foam I bought for $100.00. I accidentally read the reviews AFTER I purchased it and was hoping they’d have that problem sorted out by now. I normally don’t even post reviews but I absolutely could not, not back these people up experiencing the same thing. Absolutely 100% do not order this product! You won’t get what’s advertised!

Didn't pay attention to enough negative reviews... Or else I would've seen the problems inflating and the cheap light blue foam that isn't what the pictures show. We've had ours open for over 10 days and it's still not fully expanded to even usable quality...

We should have paid attention to the poor reviews but thought this looked like a good deal. We’ve had the topper laying out flat for over 100 hours and it has not expanded. The topper has severe creases we thought would expand out but are not. Some areas haven’t expanded at all. Now we’ll have the chore of trying to return this piece of junk. We would not recommend this useless piece of foam.

I noticed 99 % of everyone’s review was that of the wrong product that they received. I too am amongst the many others that received a cheaper quality topper. My question to the manufacturer.. how is that many “mistakes” are being made? Also.. do I really have to go through the trouble of paying and shipping product back, waste time, and then wait for the correct product to be re-shipped?

I read the other reviews before buying this, and now I wish I had listened to the negative ones. The topper that I got is a very light blue with blue speckles all over it, and looks nothing like the one picture on the website. It has expanded completely except for the creases from where it was folded, which have created an oval bowl shape in the middle of the topper. It both feels, and appears, to be of lesser quality than the one pictured on the website. For lack of better description, it feels like quicksand when I lay on it; for about a minute after I stop moving, I can feel my body sinking into it further. When I get up, it is very slow to return to it’s original shape. It takes at least another minute to expand again. I’m not at all impressed. Now I have an almost fully expanded topper that I can’t get back into the box to return to Home Depot. I’m unimpressed and annoyed.

The Lucid 3 inch gel foam mattress topper was a huge disappointment. I did exactly what the manufacturer advice to do, which is to let the mattress breath when you get it, but the foam after a week of use would not return to its original form on certain spots on my bed. As a memory foam, when not in use it should return to its original form and when one uses it, it should conform to one's body. It doesn't offer the support I needed, don't know if maybe having a 4 inch foam would make a difference. I need to find out what I can do to return it for refund or replacement.

Buyer beware, bait & switch. What they send you is not the same aqua colored topper featured in the picture. If you look at the one in the listing it is aqua (blue/green). Look at the review photos. Some people received the correct topper, most of the others (including myself) received a blue topper with blue speckles. After researching the brand, it appears this is a lower tier model sold through other vendors under a different name. When you check the other vendors sites, you will find the blue topper you receive in those listing. The box you receive will say Gel Topper, no mention of Aloe because it is not the same topper. I contacted the manufacturer, they sent "a replacement" stating it was a mis-shipment but that turned out to be the same exact topper in that box. Do your homework before buying! I give up.

It’s enough comformt At least for me :-) But the only drawback I see, the color of the foam got changed from light blue to yellow in less than a week tough we covered the entire foam with bedsheet cover. Not really sure is it a defect..

Horrible and disgusting. We purchased and we were happy that HD had curb pickup because of Covid19. When we opened it we noticed some dirtiness on the corner and then when we flipped open the fold there was ton of dirt. It wasn't dust... looks like it was used before. We are in total shock and had to sanitize our bed. Furthermore after contacting Lucid we realized this company doesn't not care about customers. They were beyond rude. They didn't even bother to request photos. I took photos and video and posted on the net. Also the product is not blue as in the photos. Says it was produced in Kosovo.

Purchased the 3 inch queen topper, was excited to receive it in the mail as i have been having trouble sleeping. Topper came neatly packaged when it got to me. I made sure i was careful not to damage it in any way while opening it and only used and the cutter that came with it in the box to remove all plasting from it. Afterwards laying it flat across my bed for 24 hours to ensure it was able to expand and form nicely i inspected the product for damage and found none. Put my sheets on my bed and have slept on it a total of 7 days now and when i removed my sheets this is what i have found under them. Overall it is really comfortable but i am unhappy with the fact that it has started to tear apart in random areas all over the topper. Two of which goes completely through it

Love it! 4in gel infused memory foam topper was supposed to be here July 31st 2020, came 2 days early at 8pm from UPS! Received daily emails n text tracking updates etc Fits bed perfectly and very comfortable. No damage. Took about 10 mins to relax, but still waiting the 48 hrs to sleep on like said in packaging. May be a little hot as I already bought a pillow-topper to cover it. Was $99, Paid $105 with tax. Free delivery. On queen size mattress. It's amazing.

We were a little skeptical but lost that as soon as we tried it. We're <<cough, cough>> older and have fewer aches and pains in the morning, especially shoulders. ONE of us even snores a bit less! The other one of us sleeps deeper ;) Totally recommend, totally love the topper!

Do not waste $130. On this topper. I am not happy with my purchase I can't return it to the store either. The foam has openings on it IS BRAND NEW It opened up nicely loved it but once I pressed it with my hand the foam started opening up. NOT WORTH IT SO COMFORTABLE but the material is not good at all. Home Depot come pick it up and TRASH IT and return my money.

Lovely topper for our sleeper sofa. Sleeping on the sofa alone was bumpy and uncomfortable, now it feels like a regular mattress. Took about 24 hours to air out completely, the initial smell is strong but goes away in a well-ventilated area.

So I have a pillow top mattress that’s fairly new but my back was aching every morning. I even purchased a feather bed topper for it . Nothing. Was about to buy a new mattress.. I’m so glad I gave this a try! I have slept like baby. Absolutely no back pain and I’m not tossing and turning . I don’t even have to use a pillow . It’s actually comfy with out it

I was worried about buying this bc of negative reviews. Many said it was too soft. I like soft so decided to try it on sale for 95bucks. I got the 4inch queen. It puffed up within a few hours but waited about 12 before using it. We did put a quilted matress protector over it and it is on a nice pillow top matress. I am 5'9" 214lbs my partner is 5'1 135lbs. We have slept on it for 4 nights . We find it soft but still enough firmness to not sink much. We do not sink to the bottom or very far in at all like some reviews say. You sink a little but not much. I have had 2 spinal surgeries and a leg surgery (age 38) and just after a few nights my hips/legs and back feel so much looser and I am having less nerve pain!! So if u want a very soft bed that conforms to you like being on a cloud this is the foam for you! I am physically limited but still able. Maybe if someone was very heavy or elderly/ very physically limited they may have a different experience than us. But so far we love it and highly recommend. Barely any smell and people complain about heat but in my experience all memory foam it hot... I dont think this one is any different than others I had and I like to be warm at night. So much better than the egg crate kinds!!!! I recommend and did not get anything for writing this review.
