Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue with expansion. This can happen depending on how long the mattress was in packaging before shipment, or if weight was placed on the box. Because of this, full expansion times may vary. It may take just a few days or a few weeks. There are a few things that may help open up the foam pores and speed up the expansion process. First, foam reacts best to warmer temperatures. Because of this, we recommend setting the mattress next to a window with sunlight or next to a heater. Second, we recommend walking over the mattress with clean feet as this will open up stuck memory foam pores. Third, if the bottom portion has fully expanded, we recommend using the mattress since body heat is another source for the memory foam to expand. It will not harm the mattress in any way. In fact, it may speed up the process! If, after about one week of opening and trying these things, you are still having a problem with expansion, let us know at info@lucidmattress.com.
