Mattress is smaller

I ordered 10" king size mattress. Packaging box was torn when it arrived. I opened the box and let it 'breathing' for more than 72 hours. 4 days later, it is still more than 4 in narrower than 76in width of king bed. Sick and tired of the manufacture always cheating and slim on their products size.

The mattress did not inflate to 10”. Layed it out for 4 days. The top sides curled up on both ends. One part 8” another part 6” also 9”.

Super comfy, I weigh 125lbs and it feels firm, but soft. On arrival, It was easy to unfold, no smell .I laid it out for 2 days, before using. I’m using a 4x8 plywood as the base frame. Very good purchase!

Corners in the mattress don't expand at all and it take to long too

Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue with expansion. This can happen depending on how long the mattress was in packaging before shipment, or if weight was placed on the box. Because of this, full expansion times may vary. It may take just a few days or a few weeks. There are a few things that may help open up the foam pores and speed up the expansion process. First, foam reacts best to warmer temperatures. Because of this, we recommend setting the mattress next to a window with sunlight or next to a heater. Second, we recommend walking over the mattress with clean feet as this will open up stuck memory foam pores. Third, if the bottom portion has fully expanded, we recommend using the mattress since body heat is another source for the memory foam to expand. It will not harm the mattress in any way. In fact, it may speed up the process! If, after about one week of opening and trying these things, you are still having a problem with expansion, let us know at info@lucidmattress.com. We'll do our best to help you.

My First Memory Foam Mattress

I knew I wanted a memory foam mattress but wasn't sure which brand to go with so I looked at all the mattresses and read the reviews. I picked this brand not only because it was on sale but it had the features I wanted. It was 14" with the cool surface and medium support. The bed came in a box, which was opened/torn on one side but I'm sure that was because the mattress is heavy. It was easy to open and unfold on the frame. I am very happy with my choice and sleeps wonderfully.

The mattress didn’t expand like it was suppose to. All four corners are still small and some parts of the ma didn’t expand as well. It’s uneven . Its suppose to be 12” and it’s only 10” snd doesn’t feel firm on sides

Do Not Buy

Purchased this mattress in December 2022 waiting for my bed to arrive, bed finally arrived 22 February. I tried to give this bed a change however I am not getting much sleep on this bed. Generally, I am cold however this bed sleeps HOT. I woke up sweating the first night sleeping on the bed and have not stopped. Tried a cooling mattress topper however nothing has changed--it still sleeps HOT. There isn't any airflow in the mattress whatsoever. I went for another box mattress but this was a fail.

Plush? You mean hard as a rock!

Purchase this for my RV, thinking it would be soft and plush. Completely disappointed. This is hard as a rock. It’s been four days now since I took it out of the package and it is nowhere near 10 inches instructions are it will take 24 to 48 hours to fill with air. It has been double that time. not even sure if I was sent the correct mattress because your name is not on any of the tags?

Hard as a rock!

I purchased because it states PLUSH! This is so hard and firm! Now I’m stuck with it because I placed in my RV and to get it out in need to be cut. Extremely disappointing. Also, took out of package 3 days ago and still isn’t even?

Great Matress!

I bought two of these mattresses for everyday use a year ago. They are great for the money! Both expanded as advertised. Make sure you have the correct foundation for this type of mattress (get rid of the old box spring and get a platform bed). I didn't have the experiences the bad reviews described at all... I followed the instructions. I contacted the company to register the warranty. The interaction was pleasant.

Black Mold

Received this Lucid full mattress today. Lots of black spots seen after taking out of box. At first thought it was just on the plastic, but it was not. Opened the plastic in a couple of places and there was BLACK MOLD all over the actual mattress. Actually covered in it! I dragged it onto my driveway and called Home Depot to come pick it up.

Read the reviews carefully, they’re right.

I initially saw this bed had almost five stars so I purchased ti without reading the reviews but they’re correct. Cons 1. After 48 hours, it doesn’t ever reach 10in as advertised. 2. The “inflation” is uneven. The middle of the bed is lower than the other two sides and one side is more full than the other. Pros 1. Bed was pretty easy to set up and seems to be of good quality so far. 2. If you’re into a firm bed, the mattress is quite firm as advertised.

Will shed fiberglass!!!

I’ve owned this mattress for almost 2 years exactly when I look a look under my bed to look for a dropped screw. Instead of the screw, I found that the entire floor under the bed was covered with little shiny specs. I knew immediately that this was a sign of fiberglass contamination. Not ONCE did I remove the cover of the bed that is supposed to retain the fiberglass for fireproofing and yet there is so much fiberglass falling out of the bed. Glad I caught this before long.

Not Expanded to 10 inches - Beware

I bought this bed last December and it's been two months now and still it didn't expand to 10 inches as advertised. In some places, it has expanded just above 7 inches and in most places, they expanded to 8 inches, and in one place it expanded to 9 inches. It is shorter in all the ends and height differs in one end than the other. It also bends downward in all four corners. Not sure whether this is a damaged mattress. I'm disappointed with this purchase and would not recommend it.

Bought this mattress based on pretty good reviews from friends...

Bought this mattress based on pretty good reviews from friends But unfortunately my mattress did not fully expand. Waited for a week But no luck still same. Very uneven on the sides and the mattress cover is very loose which indicates that it still has room to expand. Seems like a rare defective piece. Hoping support could help in replacing it.

You can also walk or crawl along the mattress for a few minutes at a time throughout the day, as that can help break up the air pockets in the foam. First timer with this type of mattress, feels pretty good...

First timer with this type of mattress, feels pretty good to my back. This is after opening the sealed packing. Box it came in was in great shape for being shipped to my home, compared to the bed base.

Ok for the price

The bed arrived on time. It is not providing the comfort that i thought. But it is acceptable for the price. I am not sure if this is a true california king size, the width was shorter, which left some space on each side of our cali king bed.

Defective mattress

I received defective mattress on July 17 after waiting for two weeks. I already sold my Son mattress after the Home Depot said they will deliver the new mattress on July 6. My Son sleep on the Sofa for two weeks then I received a defective mattress on July 17 after waiting for two weeks. I called Home depot customer services and she told me to call on Monday to solve the problem.

Moldy Mattress After Almost A Year

I live in a pretty dry area as well as keep my room temperature at 60-70 degrees to prevent mold growth in my household. So it came to a shock to us to see so much mold on a mattress that we barely bought a year ago. No one should see mold on any pretty much new mattress. We bought the frame with it which showed no sign of mold whatsoever but the mattress was moldy to the point it was starting to eat through the "protective cover" as they called it on the mattress. Bizarre and disgusting. When i tried to bring it to their attention on Lucid customer service chat they tried to blame it on me. Definitely will not be buying from this company. Oh and by the way. Google Lucid Mattress Mold and you'll see I am not the only one with this issue.

All is great EXCEPT.....

I have spent countless hours searching for the perfect mattress for our daughter. I decided to put my full trust in Lucid. I was overall surprised with how well it looked and felt.... UNTIL the top left corner never fully inflated. All other sides lay flat and look great as I wanted! But now due to this one top side and corner it’s going to be an even longer drawn out process than it already has been! Not to mention we put more money into this than we had planned ONLY in hopes of avoiding any flaws like this that might set us back. Other than this we are very pleased so far!... PLEASE Lucid help! Partially met expectations- in all respects except being too firm. After two months we stop using and placed in guest bedroom. The medium Tight-Top was a replacement for the firm Tight-Top we also stopped using after two months. The medium did not seem any less firm. Plenty of 'give' but when lying on, was just too hard for both of us. Fine for guest bedroom use. Mattress did meet our expectations for quality, as have the three previous ones, just too firmer of a tight-top for our liking. Tight-top is a great description as the top seems slightly firm on a springy cushion base, for both firm and medium. Our previous two Lucid Foam mattresses were perfect.

Waited over 48 hours and the mattress still looks the way it did 2 hours after unboxing. It did not expand properly. It remained deformed, uneven, and bent in one corner. I have not had issues with other memory foam brands. I have sent Lucid an email and hope they will step in to resolve this soon.

Foam doesn't inflate evenly

Did not inflate in the middle even after waiting for weeks, making it difficult to sleep on to it.
