Picked this up July/19, at my local Home Depot, took it home plugged it in and heard the chime! I was up and running in no time. I also bought a smart bulb and plug to go with it in my home office. The plug hanger is a no clutter extra.

We love our Google Home Mini! Installation was relatively easy, and it paired to our Wink Hub 2.0. Now we control our lights and everything else in our smart home by voice. My kids love it! They have a great time asking Google different questions and asking for lights to be dimmed or the color changed, and Google keeps up pretty well, even though it has only learned my voice. My wife’s voice seems to be the winner, and she can get it to do anything. We use it a lot for timers and alarms—“Hey Google, set a timer for 3 minutes” when someone has earned a time out. “Hey Google, set an alarm for 12:30” when we need to remember to do something then. My kids have asked it to count to one million—Google his smarter than to do the entire thing, but I’ll let you discover its solution on your own. We frequently ask Google to put on music for a dance party. Our idea of a dance party for a bunch of preschool kids is not everyone’s idea for a dance party, and Google sometimes nails it with fun pop music, and sometimes some EDM, and other times it’s totally off for our age range, but it’s always fun none the less. Is the sound great? No, it’s the size of a hockey puck. Is it fine for what we need? Yes, absolutely. And if we need better sound, we just switch over to our home stereo system. Interestingly, Google gets more time than our high end system due to ease of use. This thing reads stories, is always patient, orders stuff, controls lights and alert notifications and helps us convert measurements. We have thoroughly enjoyed our mini.

Totally in love with this product! Bought one for us and one for the grandkids. It was so easy to set up and so much fun! Very small and blends in with surroundings. I was amazed at everything it does! The kids even called and talked to Santa! Fun fun item! You can ask it for a recipe and will even save it for you! Totally impressed. I would definitely recommend this product. Very reasonably priced.

Love what this unit can do. It is easy to install if you follow the directions. Directions are very easy to read and understand. The overall install took me less than 15 minutes and that included programming. The wall switch is very stylish and fits right in with your existing switch cover plates. The smart bridge/brains of the unit is easy to get up and running. Our favorite part is the Lutron App which makes programming and operation simple and easy. You can do so much with the app. Program Scenes, schedule lights to automatically turn on and off. It even can operate by your location of your phone. The unit also integrates with other systems to make controlling your home systems very simple. Awesome product. We love it and are in the process of adding even more wall switches.

Remote or app control your lights - from near or far!
The Lutron wireless Caseta Smart Light Dimmer contains two in-wall light dimmer/timer switches, two Pico remotes, and the smart bridge. To use the system, you first must download the free app and install it on your mobile device or tablet. After creating a Lutron Caseta account, you then link the smart bridge to your home router. To link the smart bridge you need to use a supplied Ethernet cable, the smart bridge is not Wi-Fi enabled to link to your network, it requires a direct Ethernet link, the only negative I found in using this system. You next follow the on-screen prompts from the app to get the bridge up and running. Smart bridge only links to a 2.5 Ghz network when establishing a connection to your phone or tablet. Total time, about 10 minutes. After the bridge is set up, you add devices into your Caseta App. First, you add the wall modules and set it up, and next the remotes. Just follow the on-screen instructions, very easy and quick to do. After that, you can control any single pole light switch from the switch or either the remote or your mobile device. If replacing a three-way switch, you need to use one of the remotes as the second switch, by replacing the existing switch with a Pico remote control and wall plate Adapter (pico-wbx-adapt, sold separately). This ability also allows you to basically make any single pole switch a three-way switch by adding the remote to any location as the second switch. The remote is a compact design with the same controls as the wall module - on/off/dim. The units work with LEDs – up to 100 watts, and incandescent and halogen bulbs up to 300 watts The bulbs must be dimmable if you intend to use the dimming function. For the basic on/off and dimming features, it works great. Remote has a range well beyond line of sight as it’s linked to the bridge via the network. Advanced features of this system set it apart from other basic remote systems. You can set the scene to dim your lights based on watching a movie, etc. You can set a timer feature to turn the light on and off, and it is smart based on where you are located to track automatically seasonal changes. It also has a “welcome home” feature that turns your lights on when you arrive based on a geofencing feature of where your phonies located. Another option is that the system is compatible to control Lutron’s Smart shade system and also works with Alexa and Apple Home Kit. II have ours liked to Alexa and its pretty cools to say “Alexa, dim the living room lights”, and it happens! The bridge system is expandable to add more wall switches or plug in modules. Overall, a very good and expandable full control lighting system.

Caseta Smart Lighting Dimmer Switch (2 Count) Starter Kit w/Hub (P-BDG-PKG2W-HD). HD was out of this 2 switch kit, so they sent me a single light Starter Kit and a single switch with remote, so essentially the same thing I ordered, just in two boxes. No issue, because they billed at the 2 switch kit price! These smart switches/remotes are a bit pricey, but very easy to install and the hub and smart app are a game changer for our new LED under cabinet lighting. Turn on/dim/off away from home!

Now that my downstairs is fully controlled with an app, I might do the upstairs too.     Worst product and customer service
    I have over 10 google devices and have been trying to get help with consistent issues with voice response. No one from near knows anything and has left me with 10 devices that work less than 50% of the time. I highly advise against going with any of googles devices.

      Here is what I told them: We changed Internet providers and our Google Home Mini needed to switch to the new network. The task could not be completed in a reasonable length of time. Life is short, time is precious. My decision is to junk the Mini and to switch to Apple products of the same general type. I believe that will get the results I want faster. The purpose of these devices is to conveniently afford various benefits related to information, all of which can be obtained in other ways. If a workaround is better than the original strategy, then of course the original strategy will be abandoned. Finally, regarding your Google Home software products, I think user confusion is your chief obstacle. In many instances, how to proceed is unobvious. Often, simple requests for information lead nowhere, for no clear reason, and with no path forward. If the user learns that every time he says, “Hey, Google,” the result is unsatisfactory, he learns never to use the phrase. He won’t buy more Google equipment, and he won’t recommend it to a friend. My advice is that you spend less time figuring out what to do with the big data you are collecting and more on giving the customer reasons to stay engaged. As matters now stand, your equipment conditions people to dislike it and to avoid it. I imagine that this year your devices will be regifted at record rates.

        I bought these because my Insteon switches all were bricked...
        I bought these because my Insteon switches all were bricked when the company went belly up without any warning. One day my house went dark. So I decide to purchase a product from a popular light switch company which made it a choice between Lutron and Leviton. Lutron seemed to have more smart switches. I spoke to others who had them and the reviews were positive. They haven’t disappointed. They were approximately $20 more per switch than GE smart switches. Anyhow, I’ve now replaced 6 three way wall switches with 3 Lutron on off switches and 3 Lutron Pico remote switches. I replaced two three way dimmers and one single pole dimmer with 2 Lutron smart dimmers and two Pico remote switches. They all work great and were easy to set up with the hub and worked the first time. They’re functionality is great and the Pico remotes make wiring the second 3 way switch unnecessary which saves a lot of room in the junction boxes. Interestingly, I asked Lutron whether I needed a neutral (white) wire and they said since I have those in my junction boxes, they STRONGLY recommend that I do. I asked which model number that is so I can order some and they said we don’t have one so we can’t give you a model number. Is installed without the neutral wire and they worked seamlessly. Maybe this was a CYA type of response.
