It flickers every once in a while, also makes a buzzing sound, and occasionally won’t turn off .

It wasn't well documented (buried in the instruction page, not either on Lutron's web site or on the packaging, but the dimmers have a recommended minimum of 40 watts, rendering the device useless for the intended purpose. I returned it and had to settle for relamping the light for a single level of illumination. I didn't give it a "poor" rating because it probably works fine with a higher load.

Quality control
Tried two of these units and both were bad out of the box. First one didn't turn off the lights completely even after doing the factory reset. Second one- both switches turned on one light. I verified wiring was correct. Returned and not buying a third one. Dimming is not that important to me to go through this hassle. Im happy with just turning the lights off and on.

Hello Dale, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with your Maestro Dual Dimmer. The MA-L3L3 you had selected is rated for incandescent or halogen light bulbs only and cannot control LED lighting. Because there is no industry standard for manufacturing LEDs, not all LEDs are designed the same and thus are subject to different performance with different dimmers, and this behavior will only be made worse when using with a control not rated for LED lighting.

Faulty top switch
The price is on the high side but this is one of the only dimmer double switches. It didn't work out for me as the top load wire stayed live even when the switch was off. Confirmed the wiring is correct. The bottom dimmer and switch worked as they should.

Wanted to use it for my recessed led lights but...
Wanted to use it for my recessed led lights but it didn’t work properly. The lights kept flickering and would turn in lights from the other switch as well. Idk why they can’t make a double dimmer for leds

The MA-L3L3 is rated only for incandescent and halogen bulbs, so performance issues such as LEDs staying on at a low level (we call this ghosting) can occur when using LEDs.
