Perhaps it's a bad batch. Bought four of these packages and not one would fit into the slots of both my ThermaTru and Jeld Wen doors (both purchased in 2019). I'm concerned "Platinum" is not part of their Quality Assurance process in commonly made doors, e.g. ThermaTru and Jeld Wen, which are both sold at Home Depot. Hopefully you get a good batch

Great fit, easy to size and install

Sturdy material. A little more wider flap would be better to improve the seal. Looks durable and resistant. Time will tell.

Grips well and blocks air, light, and rain better than the foam version that it replaced. More expensive but still recommended since it should last longer.

Impossible to slip into the door's groove. Only enuf to do one side of the door. Complete replacement requires three sets @ about $30.

Installation was easy, I realized that the door closes and locks a little tighter until weatherstrip is broken in, then its becomes easier to close and lock

Worked as expected

The weatherstrip attached to the frame with ease. The strip just wasn’t thick enough for the application I needed. Could see daylight where it met the door.

Fell right out. The insertion part was too small & didn’t stay in the slot.

Fit was perfect in my shop made custom door stop with a 3/8” deep by 1/8” wide groove!

Great product. Would give it 5 stars but for the price. It is a little expensive and if you have to weather strip over your door you have 2/3 of the strip left over (wasted), but you pay for the whole strip. It is easy to install, looks good and effectively draft proofs the door opening.

The strip was easy to install. It didn't fill my door gap as well as it needed. I may have a sloppy door join.

Easy replacement and works perfectly! This was significantly more expensive than the foam-filled type, and it provides a much better seal than my existing foam-filled type.

It wouldn’t work at all.

I wanted to change the weather stripping to white after having my wood doors and trim painted white. The package only has enough stripping to do one side of the door, I had to go back and buy more stripping to finish the other side and top. If the groove was big enough it went in easily, if the groove was tight I needed a screw driver and hammer to push it in. I also used adhesive to reinforce it staying in place. I needed a tack at the top to hold in place to get it started. It was more involved than anticipated and more difficult. The store was out of the product so will finish the project when more comes in as I was doing 2 doors.

The door weatherstrip was perfect.

Not enough weatherstrip in a package to complete one door.

The package only contains enough material to weatherstrip one side of the door. Accordingly, ti takes three packages to do the job and there is quite a bit left over from the third package.

Easy to install. Easy to trim to correct length.
