Easy to install, looks great! Our opening was slightly wider than the rod fitting so it slid slightly back and forth between brackets. We eliminated this with some Metal Duck tape on the edge of the seam to hold it solid in place.

Years ago, we bought two similar Moen shower rods two different retailers for two bathrooms. The problem with them is they had decorative “cap” covers that are supposed to click and lock into position. By some faulty design, the caps on the rods did not fit flush to the wall, so literally they are dangling useless from the rod after installation. We decided to try buying a Moen rod again to see if they fixed this problem because regardless, installation was so quick in both cases. This time, installation took 3 hours which was completely frustrating.First, the caps still do not fit flush and click into place. We ended up taping them in place with scotch tape. Second, the metal screws and metal plugs did not work. We gave up and used our own screws and plastic plugs. Reminder that you need to have a hack saw to trim the rod to size (not an easy task for us and we are DIY people) and buy special drill bit to drill into tile. Particularly unhappy with the condition that we received these items from ordering online. For some reason, our rod did not come in a box. When we picked up the order in store, it was simply wrapped in a sheet of bubble wrap which felt very unprofessional, Not sure why there was no box, though we suspect Moen gave us an item that was previously returned by another customer. The caps looked dirty like they were used and returned. (We have photos but there’s no option to attach to this review). We probably would have returned them but we really needed to get this reno done.

I installed this in Jan. 2018. It is in a spare bathroom that only gets used when we have guests. Our guests just left after a 4 day stay. The shower bar was drooping. After removing the shower bar, I found that one of the ends where the pin goes through had torn out of the rod end. The other end had an elongated hole where it was starting to tear out. The design is poor. The end pieces need to be a heavier gauge steel. See picture.

I am writing this review as someone who has owned this shower rod for two years. Don’t be fooled by the deceptive product claims. This rod is not “stainless” and it’s not long lasting. After about one year, the rod started showing early indications of rust. After two years, there are rust spots everywhere and it needs to be replaced. If you read through the other 1 and 2 star reviews, you’ll see that I am not alone here. Many of us who bought this rod thought it was great at first, only to be deeply disappointed within 1 to 2 years. I would recommend you look elsewhere for a curved rod.

Very nice shower curtain rod. Very solid. Looks like a custom install. Cutting the stainless tube to fit and mounting ends to wall does take some level of skill. Unlike other rods there is no joint in the middle to catch the slides when opening. Overall very happy.

Dimensions as advertised, which is critical for a shower rod. No problems with install but used my own anchors and screws. Looks good and functions well.

Very happy with this curtain rod, colour is great,darker than it appeared in picture which is what I wanted. In the picture it looked almost gold in colour. Was easy to install and I bought a ring-less curtain, very nice improvement in my bathroom!

Our previous curved shower rod starting drooping about a year after we purchased it so design was a very important factor in selecting this rod. I am very pleased with this product. It is very sturdy, looks beautiful and a great value! I also purchased the Moen Double Shower Hooks to go with the rod and the two work well together.

I've had the shower rod installed for less than a year in a ventilated bathroom. The rod has already started to rust in multiple spots on the top, sides and bottom. Poor quality.

Super easy to install and build quality seems solid. 2 months in, it's still looking like brand new. My walls were 59" apart and this was installed without having to cut anything short. I'm glad I paid a little extra for the curved rod as now there's more room to move around in the tub. The pivoting flanges definitely help with installation, I did it by myself.

The bar was just what I wanted to give the shower more room without encroaching on the bathroom.

Like the look of this Moen rod, even with just the liner on it, guessing it will look great when the new curtain is on. Blends well with the Banbury line. Always thought the curved rod at hotels was a little silly, but now after installing it on an older standard size bath/shower I am really surprised at how much more spacious it seems when showering. Tall husband also impressed with the extra space. For installation we forced it in at the 60" max even tho we probably should have trimmed a bit, but still looks great and easy to install (and force into smaller spot) with the pivoting flanges. This is trimmable and very sturdy. The only drawback may be the construction of the cosmetic flanges. They seemed a little flimsy/thin, but you can't tell once it is installed. After two months have no issues with durability, and seems to stand up well to Clorox. At this time I would and have recommended this rod and think it was worth the price.

This shower rod makes the whole bathroom look nicer, very classy piece of hardware at a great price. The box included easy instructions and it was a very quick install, less than five minutes, which is a major selling point for a novice like me with zero experience doing home improvements. You don't have to buy any extra parts and I was able to install the shower rod WITHOUT a drill but the instructions say that you need a drill. Fits standard shower curtain.I'm very happy with this purchase, great product.

Good basic rod

Fantastic product at an affordable price. The Rod is a single piece, therefore your curtains wont get hung up when opening or closing for use. Very easy to install with minimal effort, it took about 20 mins. Highly recommend this product!

Replaced the original shower rod in my 1960's home. What a difference this shower rod makes. In addition to looking nice, it holds the shower curtain and liner out just far enough that I finally have the room in the shower I need without bumping into either. The installation was very clear cut and simple. For the price this is a fantastic deal.

I really liked it. I installed it differently then they expected. I left out the tube on one side and drilled two holes so this could be pinned to the bracket and then cut the rod to length with a hack saw. I think this provides more torsional stability for the curved rod. Looks great installed and probably would have been okay without the modification. There wasn't good information on where this should be hung so I will give you my advise - ends of the rod on the inside edge of the tub. This worked out well for me. You might want to put the curtain on and see how it looks before you install the anchors. I also screwed my anchors into the studs which I made sure they were covering this area before installing the hardie board and tile.

This shower rod is inexpensive but looks fabulous. Installation was fairly painless. I had to cut the rod down by 2" to fit the width of my bathtub. Curved shower rods are so much nicer because they prevent the shower curtain from blowing back into you when showering.

A really nice upgrade. The rod and end caps are high quality and look great. Install was not too difficult, and drywall fasteners were included (although you do need to supply your own wood screws if installing into studs).

I am very pleased with my curved shower rod. My son installed it, having to cut 1/4" off to fit the opening, but it was perfect when he was done. It was exactly what I wanted. I recommend it highly.

Cut down to fit 48" shower with cutoff wheel on grinder. No joint to snag rings on, works great.

I love this curved shower rod. It adds a lot of elbow room in the shower and gives the bathroom a luxurious look. I love that there is no divider in the middle to slide the shower rings over just smooth rod. I had to cut it to get it to fit exactly but it was easy enough and then it was a breeze to install with a few screws.

The curved rod gives more space in the shower. Easy to install. Does not require screws in tile or wallboard. The rubber type feet on the ends grip the wall nicely. Moen did a good job making this bar user friendly. The end covers snapped into place easily. The brushed Nickel matches my other hardware.

This product really does what the advertisements say it will do. Installation was simple, The rod looks and functions perfectly. Our guest really appreciate the extras space.

I was concerned that it was an adjustable rod, but there are no seams visible, so you can't even tell; looks like a custom. The rod is very sturdy and looks great. Bathroom project almost done; one more coat of paint to go!
