These anchors did a great job! I mounted two grab bars into a one-piece fiberglass shower enclosure. The bars are secure and sturdy. I was really nervous about cutting into the fiberglass with a hole saw, but after checking and double-checking several times on placement, it went smoothly. The mounting plate does give some room for fine tuning after the holes are cut.

Stainless Steel Grab Bar Anchors in Chrome (2-Pack) requires a 3-1/2” space behind the wall for installation and provides up to 300 lbs in weight bearing capacity when securely installed. Using Moen’s Securemount Anchor system, Moen Securemount Grab Bars can be mounted onto a variety of substrates. These include ½” drywall, ½” drywall with tile, ½” drywall with marble, 5/8” drywall, 5/8” drywall with tile, 5/8” drywall with marble, 1/8” fiberglass tub surround and ¼” fiberglass tub surround. Great idea, but had to return as the threaded hole...
Great idea, but had to return as the threaded hole pattern did not match my grab bar flange. Also it is not compatible with a exposed screw fixture as it makes the stand-off from the wall excessive. I still like the design for between stud anchoring, but did not fit my need.

This bar was selected as an aide assist. This bar is non obtrusive in appearance and blends well in the commode area. The paper section even holds the extra large rolls. We are very happy with this selection.

Doesn't fit any of the MOEN grab bars I have. The hole needs to be extremely large. I returned them all.

Worked perfect in a 1/8" thick fiberglass shower. Suggest drilling 1/8" or smaller hole, easily patched if necessary, and use a feeler wire to verify 3.5" clearance behind the wall before using the hole saw.

OK so the install worked except for the alignment with an angle install, put dbl. stick tape on the back of the alignment tab to hold it in place while making for alignment and drilling (make sure you pencil mark the alignment tabs on the plate, I did not) but got it up after a few no ligible words

These toggles are well thought out and are spec'd to hold 300 lbs. Not sure I want to test that but the grab bars had to be installed where there were not studs available. These did the trick and feel very solid. I did test them by getting up from the toilet as if I needed the support and they didn't move at all.

Works great unless the tiled walls are too thick!
The anchors are doing a great job on regular walls. However, the tiled walls on my shower were beyond the capacity of the of the plastic facilitator to flip the anchor to the needed vertical position. I still recommend these anchors.
