I bought a 24K Mr Cool mini-split AC, so I purchased the line set covers from Mr Cool as well. The covers seem sturdy enough and certainly do the job, but there are a number of issues with them. For starters, the fittings are only held together with a couple of screws. It wouldn't take much to strip out a screw or pull the fittings apart. There are also big gaps between the fittings and the sections of the covers that would allow water and bugs to get inside. I solved both of these by caulking all the joints and seams with polyurethane caulk once the installation was finished. The mini-split comes with 25 feet of line set, but the cover set only covers 12 feet. So I had to buy two sets to cover the lines, and still needed one more coupling to finish the installation. Unfortunately, you can't buy individual fittings, so I had to cut the taper off of one of the end fittings and use that as a coupler. It worked, but it would be nicer if you could just order the parts you need. Two kits didn't have everything I needed, but I'm stuck with an elbow and head cover that I don't need. In the end they got the job done but there is certainly room for improvement, especially considering the price for a few pieces of plastic. I'm still planning to paint the covers so they blend with our siding a bit better.

Very easy to install. Cutting to size was a breeze. Trim pieces fit well and secure. I can see where more straight lengths would be handy if longer runs used (14 ft line cover included with 25 ft lines with A/C unit purchased).

This product is exactly what I needed to cover my mini-split line set. It was easy to install and looks great. Instructions received could have been better, but after studying the kit it was simple to install. It takes some firm pressure from time to time to get the pieces to lock together and if everything is lined up properly the fit is very good. I would also suggest the back plate be installed first. This will provide for the placement and bends needed for your line set.

Easy to install and looks good on the house. May need to cut to size but overall a solid product.

I didn't have high expectations, but the quality is good. For my installation the 2 line sets are approximately 19' long each, so I needed 2 more straight sections and couplers, which are not available by themselves. So, I had to buy a third kit to complete the installation. One of the kits I bought did not contain a 90 degree elbow, so I returned it and bought another.

Mr. Cool Line Guard 4.5 16 Piece set was installed last week and looks great. Clean lines, easy to install and even the professional HVAC guys asked where I got the set and how much. They said they usually use downspouts. You can see by the photo how much better it looks next to the downspout. Thumbs UP!!!!

It was easy to assemble. Did not take long to install.

Poor quality and not enough screws included for each piece. Sadly, the generic version on some sites is even worse. This is what you are stuck with for the cover. You can buy your own screws for obvious places for backs of covers and extra strapping to hold pipe in place. Do not overtighten or piece becomes useless.

Kinda cheap product for the price, but easy to install and keeps the insulation protected from sun and elements.

Excellent product, the kit provides more than enough parts for several situations to cover the lines for the mini-split. It gives the installation a clean professional look while protecting the lines.

The system was fairly easy to put up and protects the lines very nicely.

Makes the new installation blend in perfectly. Even my family who was aware I did the work were mostly oblivious to it when the tubing and cable was covered.

Perfect fit for hiding your lines.

My only complaint was that outside and inside corners were not included. It makes an otherwise impressive job look unfinished or amateurish. Rather disappointing.

The bottom of the box was torn open. If there was any instructions they were gone. UPS strikes again. Had a little trouble getting waited on in the store . But besides that everything else was ok

I ordered a 16 ft line set and a line set cover kit. The line set cover was only 12 ft.? Mr. Cool should give you enough to cover the line set that you ordered!
