My wall is stunning in this beautiful stone

Loved this stacked stone so much we bought it again for our new home fireplace. Bought the corner panels that went with it, but could not figure how to make them work, plus they were twice the thickness as the panels, so My husband made our own corners.

Nice product. Wouldve been nice if I wasnt forced to buy by the pallets . Only needed 3 more boxes to complete the job and was told I needed to buy another pallet after I had already bought two. Maybe sell it by the box so people dont have to be forced to buy what they dont need. Nice product though.

Look at this junk. They call these the same color! Way beyond natural variation between dye lots, this is no quality control at all. Panels also have inconsistent sizes and glue all over them that needs to be cleaned up.

I’m so frustrated with this product. I’m a professional stone setter and have worked with this style product for 20 years. I’ve never had more problems than this job. The first pallet was ok minus 20% being in useable. The second pallet is complete garbage. The ledgers vary 3/8” from each one and the part that overlaps the next panel just simply don’t fit. Not one part of these are cut properly or square. Home Depot’s answer is just buy more and return what you don’t like. Well someone has to pay my lost wages for sorting through hundreds of feet of tile and returning the crap. I will never buy these from Home Depot again and will remember the brand and it’s quality for the rest of my career.

After much time spent searching for stone for front porch area, I decided on this. Kept going back to it, it just grabbed me! House paint SW agreeable gray, white trim with SW cracked peppercorn. My contractor love combo & did fantastic job applying stone, ( still in process) but already so beautiful! Neighbors stopping by, loving it. Different from all stone entrance in area! More contemporary look. So happy with the dimension it adds, going to paint door white, & ceil area to reflect light. Plus new sidelite that’ll add huge pop of color! Had to order more tile, as we kept increasing area of application! Wrapping front corner of house too! Beautiful yet subtle, sparkle throughout tile. Better than perfect! Will post another picture when completed!

Great price on this stone. Project turned out amazing. Very easy to cut on wet saw. This rock is gorgeous so many natural colors. We have gotten so many compliments on its looks. Highly recommended!! Honestly can’t understand why MSI would be discontinuing such a natural looking ledgestone. Get it before you can’t!!

1) Backsplash had a bluestone base, the second order for wall substantially different green base color. Don't come back later for more. 2) Within a box were two widths, 5 7/8" and 6". Sort and do a row of 6" and a row of 5 7/8" separately, else you get 1/8" gaps. 3) 6" fit well together, but 5 7/8" require an 1/8" trim of one side's tab, as the tabs and slots are different by 1/8" and will also create gaps. 4) 45 the corners, seal, then grout gap. With these, good outcome.

Was a bit disappointed in the color variation from a 10 box pallet , didn't use all 10 boxes, HD wouldn't let us return a partial pallet(2 boxes)

I bought this at the beginning of 2022 Feb to be exact. I was blown away by the price 170 dollars for 60 square feet. I planned on giving my fireplace wood burning insert a bit of a face lift. It is nearly August and I finally started the project and it is looking good. You will need a wet tile saw to cut the pieces. I am using loctite pl max premium to glue the tile to my fireplace. Issue I'm having is trying to unglue the tile. Also the price went way up now 600 for 60 square ft.

I ordered two pallets of these as you are not able to purchase in less increments, I only needed 13 boxes. There is a LOT of color differences between boxes, make sure when using them to ensure you are rotating through different boxes. The thickness was a little less than I would have liked, but they worked fine.

Nice product. 90-95% of the panels were intact when unpacked and held together during install. cuts clean and fast on a wet saw. Goes up with thinset by buttering the back of each piece - this helps fill in the uneven pieces. Had a number of stones split, delaminate or crumble during install. this happened when pieces were stressed or during cleanup/wipe-down. Otherwise no issues.

This material is really beautiful and easy to work with. We applied it directly to sheetrock wall and built a hearth with ease. It would be best with a wet tile saw, but we used a regular table saw with no problems (but a lot of dust). It is only available by the pallet, but the price was so great, we didn't mind having extra. It allowed us to add the back wall of our bar. Highly recommend!

Color wasn’t like what was pictured online.. a lot more blues and gray vs. the maroon and gold.. was bummed

On time to store, great customer service. Stone is beautiful.

Rock was between 1/2”to 3/4” overall width, which was nice for vertical fireplace installation. Used some sealant finish on it which enhanced the color. Interlocking worked great, long pieces seem to need a 90% coating of thin set. Nice product.

Excellent product! Used it to reface a cabin’s 60 year old fireplace. It was easy to install and make custom wet saw cuts. My wife loves it.

Great product. Easy to install with thin set and no grout. Best way to cut is with a grinder with a 6” dry diamond blade. Cut like butter no chips. I am also going to do my fireplace in the same product and will do the shower in 12”x12” slate same color.

I love our new update but my husband and I are No DIY people so I am going to give what we figured out to help those like us. Wetting the back to be able to move them a bit after putting on the wall seemed like it made them not stick as well. They are terrible to cut but it's possible. Keep all little pieces when cutting to fill in holes.

Looks very nice

Fairly uniform sizes and went up easily. There isn't any mesh backing - tiles are hot glued together and easily reconstructed when mortaring if they broke loose shipping. Since the width is non-uniform, putting a panel together from pieces is nearly impossible without cutting the individual ledger stones. The corners are a nice addition to a really elegant look - much better than miter cuts. Generally fit together nicely. Haven't seen outside corners offered with most other styles. Originally this was a flat wall. Framed out 17 inches from the wall and overlayed with plywood. The mantle is HD's rough sawn Montana barnwood over 6by lumber lag bolted to the frame. Barnwood went up after the tile. Cabinets and counter went into the corner last. Was a 4 day project for my son and I.

Nice product but needs to be more sturdy. Breaks to easy.

We used this to create a skirt around the outside perimeter of a small building. Easy to use and is holding up well.

I am a 52 yo woman with no real experience in diy remodeling but this produce completely transformed my bathroom and I did it all myself in a weekend. I read previous reviews carefully to learn what worked best and then purchased a small $58 tile saw from Home Depot to cut the pieces using the included diamond blade. I had never used one before this project but found it easy to manipulate and it worked perfectly. Like previous reviewers I did not spray with soapy water for fear the adhesion would be altered. I was very careful about placement because once stuck they were VERY difficult to move/remove. I highly recommend marking the wall to keep everything level. The entire project cost under $800 including the new vanity.

This slate turned out absolutely stunning on our fireplace. The colors and texture were perfect.
