It's not sticking
Do not use this product it will start pulling away in few hours and you can't stick it back.

Definitely wouldn’t be effective at actually sealing anything. Glue strip on back is small and the whole piece doesn’t sit flush. Will be returning the unopened pack I have. Probably will take down what I’ve already used and try something else.

I gave it one star only because I should have read the packaging more carefully before purchasing. I bought this to put around the base of my toilet. But it didn't work because the toilet base is curved, and the caulk couldn't bend enough or adhere properly. I suspect this is best for totally straight surfaces.

I applied according to directions, waiting for the 12 hour period +. It did not stay on. I also watched You Tube videos. My opinion is it does not work well.

I want to compliment Karen K at the Belleville Crossing store. As I was looking for a different product she saw me and walked over to see if she could help me with something, clarified the type I was looking for, and took me to the correct isle and verified that was the product. She saw me the second time and ask if there was something else she could help me with. She took me to the product, showed me the different sizes, and also gave me a tip on usage. She knows the store well. Her help and pleasantness was greatly appreciated.

This may not be the product's fault, but there was only one thin version of the tape left, so I bought one thin tape and one wide one. The thin one was already open, but worked fine, the wide one was sealed, but seemed older and less sticky, and it didn't stay in place. Yes. I wiped down with alcohol first. Both packages scanned for one dollar more than they were marked. So I'm not delighted with the purchase. I will get another thin roll when it's in stock.

Awful to use. It does not look good and does not do any curves surfaces. Regular caulk is cheaper and easier to use. Don’t use this tape.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. When using these types of products, it can be frustrating due to the specific instructions and work that comes with using a product like this. Our Peel & Stick Caulk is designed to create a tight seal to keep moisture out. Depending on if the surface was prepared per the instructions, all prior caulks must be completely removed, and the surface thoroughly cleaned with a scouring powder and rubbing alcohol to ensure all residue has been removed. Pre-bend each strip of caulk by folding it at the score line that runs down the middle to form a 90° angle. It’s best to work in small sections and continue to slowly pull the backing off and press the caulk strip firmly to the surface and avoid having to reposition the strip. In corners where two strips will meet, cut the bottom half of the strip at a 45° angle to create a flat mitered corner.
