Didn’t fit

As others have mentioned, build quality is an issue. I purchased 6 doors of various sizes and handing. All the doors had very rough strike and hinge sides. The painter didn't notice this and after he painted them, we discovered that those sides are as rough as a cheese grater. They will have to be sanded down and repainted. Half the doors had stripped hinge screws on the door side - the jamb side was OK. Looking at the very fine powder on the screw threads, it appears that the tool used to torque down the screws was over-driving the screws. The wood used on the door hinge side was also very soft - you could easily put a 1/4" dent in the wood with a fingernail without pushing hard at all. Half the doors had mis-aligned stops, which required removal and reinstallation to get the gaps correct so the doors would actually close!

I was pleased with the replacement door and was not aware it came with a new frame, so that exceeded my expectations. I would buy this door again if needed.

Worked like they should. Look nice

The door went in easy and looks good with new knob etc. It is kinda warped and does not close tightly. You can see some daylight above the knob area. But for 75 bux I cant complain. It is for a kids room and will probably last until they blow through it. But it does look good when painted. I would buy one again due to low price. I would call it a disposable door to be honest.

The wood styles and rails are to small and can not cut down a door more than a 1/2 inch without having to rebuild the bottom of door. Doors are often cut down for carpet adjustment. Please put a larger bottom rail and side in order to retrofit

I have provided this pre-hung door product a rating of one. I have over rated the product because zero is not available. The bottom line, do not buy a low price Masonite door. They are poorly constructed, and may likely offer any potential buyer with a host of door installation problems involving the door itself. This may include one or all of the following, misaligned door stops, cracked door stops, cracked jams, warped jams, warped or bowed door, latch inserts not deep enough, missing hinged screws, warped hinges, dings, dents, and list goes on. Buyer beware if you have Home Depot pick out the doors for delivery. They will certainly slip in serious damaged doors to take advantage of customers. I purchased twelve doors, and half caused serious installation problems, one was so bad it was returned. I should of returned all, but my door installer dealt with the issues. Walk by this product, and do not even consider to purchase online.

THE MFR OF THIS PRODUCT IS VERY POOR. THE ALIGNMENT OF THE HINGES TO THE KNOB SET DID NOT MATCH AS IT SHOULD. ALSO THE HINGES WERE NOT MORTISED FULLY AS THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE.

After pricing this product at a local independent door shop, I bought these because they were a lot cheaper. I found out that there is a reason they are cheaper. I was not aware there were two different qualities of doors and jambs. The independent shop quoted wood jambs and doors with wood edges. These are all a composite material making them, well, cheap. Never again.

I bought a bunch of these doors for a remodel. They are pretty thin. Kind of look OK. HOWEVER, they are narrower than the original doors from the early 80's. it took a little effort to work around tile floors. When it came time to paint them I took them at their word that they were primed and attempted to brush paint them with Behr paint plus primer. Huge mistake. I don't know what the manufacturer thought they were doing with whatever they used as "primer," but I do know that you must repainted them with a good primer/ sealer before you can apply a latex enamel. Buyer beware. Even 3 coats of paint alone doesn't look good. Very frustrating.

My business partner and I have used these doors on several remodels. I can not comment on the longevity of these doors, as all of our houses sold quickly. What I can say is, they are easy to install, look great, and have had no problems opening, closing, or with the hinges. These are a great value!!

We purchased these doors for a remodel on our house 5 years ago. These doors are of very poor quality. It has been a constant battle to keep the hinges connected to the doors. The screws have pulled out repeatedly. We have tried every product made to keep the screws in place unsuccessfully. We give up. We are replacing all of these doors with solid core doors so they will last. I would never buy this type of door again.They were no worth the money spent on them.
