While I was a bit concerned about the 47 db versus the 43 db of my previous dishwasher, the noise difference is negligible. But my biggest excitement comes from the unique design of the upper 3rd rack. It's literally like having another rack, not just for flat utensils like other brands. You literally can fit so much more! If I have any issue, it's simply that the tines on the bottom rack are not adjustable. I really did love my previous Electrolux dishwasher with the adjustable angular tines, not just straight vertically positioned that Maytag offers. But otherwise, dishwasher was a great price and my dishes are clean. Thank you!!!!

I currently have a box fan running with the door open trying to dry the inside out.. dishes were laying in water I had to hand dry. I have a call in to Maytag support to come fix it. This was the first run right out of the box and it doesn't work properly. unfortunately we are past the 48 hour return window homedepot offers because of timing to be able to install so we're stuck with this. Hopefully when the repair man fixes the heating element or whatever the problem is it will resolve the issue and it will last awhile.. This is the 2nd time I've had an issue with a Maytag product. Really bummed because before Whirlpool bought them they were a great company with great products. I'm done with Maytag when this thing blows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dishwasher for about a month and I couldn't be happier. I love the three racks which has really improved the packing efficiency. My dishes in all racks have come out very clean using a range of detergents (pods and liquids). This machine is rated about mid-pack when it comes to sound, but I don't think I'd need it to be any quieter than this. You can hear it at times but it is never even remotely disruptive, even while standing right next to it. If I was forced to complain about something it might be the gray plastic around the handle area which has a slightly warmer tone when compared to the cooler tone of the stainless steel, but the machine itself has been nothing but wonderful.

It has cleaned and sanitized my pots, pans, flatware, silverware, coffee cups, and glassware. Can't believe how quiet it is! All stainless construction inside and out. Oh, the third rack is a great feature to have as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] NYT Wirecutter had reviewed this dishwasher along with the Bosch which I had intended to initially buy however, when looking at online retailer reviews the Maytag faired better. The resultes are astounding! I dont rinse anything and it may be a day or two before I wash a load. Dishes come out perfect! Detergent and rinse aid are key for these results I've found. Overall, from it's minialist design, literally whisper quite operation, to its spectacular results, I am completely pleased with this purchase. Thank you Maytag for making a dishwasher that does the job it's supposed to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about a month ago, love it! I think we’ve used the third rack (top) on every load for small stuff, did not expect to use it so much. Happy with the result of every wash so far. Only thing I’d do differently is with the install. When installing the last screw, mounting it on the left side to our cabinet, the screw did not reach any solid material. We like having it flush with our granite countertop, so don’t want to pull it forward. Some day plan to pull it out, add some solid material on the left, and reinstall. Washer itself is great!

Since Kenmore is no longer we checked around, and picked the Maytag, which was in stock locally. Very happy with it . Cleans well, loads lots of dishes, and is super quiet! Looks good too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this as a replacement for a fairly new , yet broken Samsung rotary wash model. The dishwasher gets the job done, and the end result is mikes ahead of the Samsung dishwasher. Did I mention about not getting too crazy doing a pre wash by hand , and yet the dishes( both ceramic and stainless steel ) come out clean. Minimalistic look in the top panel but has all functions one is looking for. 3rd rack is great, and water gets there and does a decent job. The dishwasher is amazingly quiet. Now the con, it is not the cheapest by any stretch. You get what you pay for, is playing out nicely in the first month of ownership.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and I am very satisfied with it. It is quite, easy to load and I absolutely love the 3rd rack. It is perfect for my use and it looks very elegant in my kitchen. And this is the first time I have had one with the controls on the top of the door. Love that too! I use Maytag washing machines and dryers but this is my first Maytag dishwasher.I have had several other brands over the years. And that is a lot of years! My husband and I will celebrate our 60th anniversary in September. Thank you Maytag!

We've had this dishwasher a few weeks now. Great quality. It's an absolute work horse cleaning dishes. I've never owned one with the cleaning power this has. Nothing I've thrown at it yet has been an issue! It runs quietly unlike some others.

We had bought it used and it had needed a few repairs along the way but for the most part we had been very happy with the old model. The day my husband pronounced the old dishwasher gone for good he went out and bought a top of the line Maytag at our local appliance dealer. If I was happy with the old dishwasher I have no words for how I feel about the new one. It is HUGE inside! It has 3 racks and literally holds our entire service for 8 plus all the odds and ends and the utensils. I was somewhat concerned that with all these dishes the top rack would not be as clean as the bottom 2 but I was wrong. You cannot tell where in the dishwasher a dish was loaded- they are all equally clean. The first few times we ran it I kept stopping by to make sure it was running- it is so quiet it really makes you wonder if it's running. All the controls are neatly hidden so they are under the counter and all you see is a tiny blue light to let you know the dishwasher is running. I never used the dry cycle on the old washer for fear something would melt or there would be permanent water spots. I now use the short dry cycle and everything comes out just right. My husband put a piece of our new backsplash on the front of the door so the dishwasher looks like it belongs in our remodeled kitchen. I can't say enough about how happy I am with this new Maytag dishwasher. I look forward to many years of clean dishes and near silence while it is running. Things certainly have changed in 23 years. My husband and I both love to cook and with all the space in this new dishwasher we no longer have to run it twice- once for the the prep work and once for the serving and eating dishes and utensils. Thank you Maytag- we will keep on cooking while you keep up with the cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had it for almost a month and am loving it. It washes and dries incredibly better than my old Whirlpool dishwasher. And that 3rd rack is a game changer. I can add a significant amount more dirty cups and bowls and tools to that 3rd rack. I love that it also has a "rinse only" cycle. It does make some prolonged buzzing or humming sounds during the cycle but it is only annoying in a quiet kitchen. And I read online that these sounds are normal. But it was unnerving at first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Maytag washer & dryer 8 mos ago. This is my first Maytag kitchen appliance and I am very happy with it! It is quieter than the 8 year old Kenmore Elite that it replaced. I can tell that my “go to” cycle will be Auto with Sani-Rinse & Long Dry options. I am so pleased with how well it dries. Virtually nothing, including plastics is wet when done. The third rack is surprisingly deep enough to accommodate many items and utensils that I had not thought would fit. The racks move in and out effortlessly and the stainless steel wash arms seem like they will be more durable than plastic. Hoping I don’t have to replace more appliances any time soon, but when the time I comes I plan to shop Maytag.

So happy with the looks and the performance of the product. Love the control panel being on top of the door. The 3rd rack is great for those smaller items that usually get tossed about in the dishwasher. The cleaning ability of the Maytag can't be beat. It runs so quietly that sometimes I don't even know that it is running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our household has had this dishwasher for about a month after replacing the cheap builder's model dishwasher that came in our newer home. This dishwasher does an amazing job once you figure out how to put everything in it correctly. The build of the dishwasher is high quality and the fingerprint resistant surface holds up to the claim fairly well. It's also very quiet which is important because we have an open concept kitchen / dining / living room area and we have no problems running the dishwasher while watching TV or holding a conversation while having dinner at the table which is only a few feet away. The Maytag dishwashers we looked at we're the only ones that promoted they had any sort of long term warranty (10 year limited parts) which was a big selling point for us. We're glad we spent the extra money on this thing! It's worth it!
