I have had many Maytag appliances over the years and have been very happy with them. Love the 3rd rack for those little items. It is so incredibly quiet that I don't even know that its running. Big plus in an open concept house. I dont have to turn the TV up anymore like I did with the old one. So far, I am very happy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start with a little background. A number of years ago I had a KitchenAid dishwasher with hard food disposal. This was maybe 8 or 9 years ago before everyone became so noise concerned and less concerned with actual wash capability. That thing was awesome. I've moved twice since then and stupid me didn't take it with me. I've been looking for something that can do as good since. Well guess what? I just found it! Needless to say, I cook....a lot! I do not believe in pre-washing dishes, because if I am going to invest the time in doing that, why have a dishwasher? I might as well just finish the job by hand that I started. I had initially installed a Whirlpool with the 3rd rack and after the 4th time I got dirty dishes out of it, I started the hunt for a replacement. This was 2 months after I moved into my new home. I started first by looking for only those dishwashers with a hard food disposal. That was a must. I don't care about sound and honestly, this thing is barely any louder than the Whirlpool was. I locked in on this one, knowing that Maytag is a Whirlpool brand just the same as Kitchen Aid. I don't know why I didn't think about Maytag in the first place, but Maytag tends to me more commercial than what you would get with Whirlpool. Let me just say - I am AMAZED! I have yet to get a single dirty dish out of this dishwasher and I just love that it is still quiet while accomplishing the job. I know this has a stronger motor than the Whirlpool had, which obviously causes higher water pressure and therefore better cleaning, but inside, there isn't a massive difference between the two. I love the 3rd rack (which is big enough to fit a full size cookie sheet without interfering with the spray arm) but by far my favorite feature is a hard food disposal on top of the regular filter (dual filtration). This is a must have and dishwasher manufacturers need to stop getting rid of hard food disposals. I give this machine a total 5 star and would give it 6 if I could! I even installed it myself - and it was super easy! Great job Maytag!

We are now hearing a ticking noise and and getting error codes displayed. Will be reaching out for a warranty repair service call to determine the issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about a month ago. It has alot of room with the third rack. The door is fingerprint free. And the drain has a grinder in it to make sure food doesn't get stuck. Totally worth every penny. I love it!

I was happy the first 4months, it started to make a weird noise last day and it displayed the code F9E1, now im not satisfied anymore because the drain pump is broken... I find it really disapointing because there should be a recall for that part that seems to break on that model. (Go Look other 1star reviews...) I should have read the reviews.. they were right. Its the blade of the chopper that breaks and damage the pump... what a cheap blade ... never gonna last 10 years like its supposed. My old maytag dishwasher was old technologie but never broke in the first 4 month of use...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the dishwasher a few days ago and we absolutely love it, it's beautiful on the outside and inside, stainless steel we love it. Like advertised it can clean off dried on egg and dried on oatmeal. And we love it it has three racks and the one on the top hold utensils and even holds our baby bottle nipples and screw tops. And oh when it's cleaning it is super quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did quite a lot of research and went to a quite a few stores hunting for the right dishwasher for me. I wanted one with a third rack that also had jets for the third rack in itself and there were very few to pick from. When I finally saw this one online and it was one for me. The only trouble I had was finding it with someone in stock! I also took that as possibly a good time. I took a chance and ordered it from the store and it was delivered about a week later. It got it’s true test after Thanksgiving dinner.... I can finally say for the first time since we moved into our new house my dishes are clean!. It is very quiet and I absolutely love the third rack. There is the slightest gap on one side by the cabinet, but unless you know it’s there, you don’t even see it! There is so much space inside too. I seriously am so glad I got this dishwasher!

Our previous dishwasher couldn't get baked on cheese or peanut butter off the dishes. We haven't found anything this little beauty can clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got our new Maytag dishwasher a month ago and we are very pleased with it's performance. The extra rack allows room for more dishes and the second rack rises and lowers for the different heights of glasses/dishes. Having the control buttons on the top of the door eliminates accidentally turning on the washer when door is bumped or children pushing them for fun. The handle is indented so there is nothing sticking out and gives the front a nice clean appearance. The dishwasher is quiet running and has a green light that comes on when your washer is done running. The only criticism I would have is I wish the wires making up the racks were a little closer together. It is difficult to place small lids in racks without them falling through. Otherwise, we are very happy with our new dishwasher and would highly recommend it to others.

I find the top drawer basket very useful, sharp knives, measuring cups, pill containers can be washed staying in place. It is very nice looking AND does an excellent job:-)

The unit is so quiet, I had to open the door to make sure it was working. The color matches all my other appliances and looks great in the kitchen. Highly suggest to all.

This is our third dishwasher in 5 years, the first broke down more than 6 times in the 2 years we had it, then I just used it for storage until we got our second one, which worked very well, but wasn't quite big enough. The Maytag is WONDERFUL! I love the fact that it has 3 shelves, 2 of which are adjustable, and the top rack silverware holder. It is energy efficient and is very quiet when running, has a good choice of different wash cycles. best of all MADE IN AMERICA

I had a dishwasher that was only a 3 years old that needed to be replaced and i decided to try out this Maytag. I was very happy with the decision. Couple of notes, the stainless steel does not completely reduce fingerprints, but it’s definitely close. I would say only about 10% as many as our old stainless steel dishwasher. The third rack for silverware is a game changer. I didn’t realize how convenient and smart this design is. Overall the design is very smart for allowing you to pack in a lot of dishes, but still get a high level of clean. I would say that I found that a lot of new dishwashers run long wash periods as with this one, but that isn’t too bad because you get the results of spotless dishes. When you look at the energy and water efficiently numbers this one ranks right on par. Definitely worth the purchase.

WE LOVE this dishwasher. It is SO quiet you don't even realize it is running. There are three trays. The top tray is for more delicate items but has a separate sprayer ensuring all those dishes get clean. we've tested it by putting dishes in with food on them and the dishwasher gets all of it off. We don't have to prewash AT ALL. There are a variety of cycles depending only our needs. The quality is sturdy and very well made. The utensil basket is versatile. We really highly recommend this dishwasher.

There is much to like about this Maytag stainless steel dishwasher, and a few frustrations involved with installation. As usual, removing the old dishwasher was the most difficult part of the process, having been installed in the days of hard conduit electrical connections and hard copper piping connections. Newer floor layers didn’t extend under the old dishwasher either, making a 3/8 inch difference in elevation to squeeze out. This would create problems for me later. Installation involves turning the new unit on its back, disassembling parts in the front, and connecting the electrical, discharge hose, and supply hose. This was all pretty straightforward, and with rear feet screwed all of the way down, I was able to finesse it into the space. The problem is that there is no way to raise the rear feet back up after it is slid partway in. Some brands have methods of adjustment for the rear legs with a single screw mechanism extending to the front of the unit, but this is not the case here, and it is so tight underneath, that the rear feet cannot be accessed. Another problem was maintaining the delicate insulation jacket intact and in place while sliding in place. Replacing the drip tray at the bottom, reinstalling the oddly-shaped lower insulation pieces, and kick plate in the proper orientation was rather difficult, and the tiny diagrams in the installation manual were completely useless for guidance. I would recommend labeling these parts carefully when unboxing, since they are easily turned around. Also check carefully for stray pieces of plastic film sticking out between components. There were a couple at the door that needed trimming off. Obtaining proper clearances and securing in place was easy, and after making connections the unit works flawlessly. I was pleasantly surprised with how quiet it is while operating. The controls are easy to learn, and there are high temp options, which other brands lack. It is also good to know that this is Energy Star rated, a condition needed for some energy efficient construction, as well as a water and energy saver. There is plenty of room inside for dishes of all sizes, three racks, and a smooth fingerprint-resistant stainless steel front. It lacks an interior light, a feature which I liked is other brands that I have used, but that isn’t a deal breaker for me. This appears to be well constructed and I expect it to last for a couple decades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me say first that I made quite a research of various models, styles, and functionalities of different dishwashers. There are new types with heated elements that are hidden, heated water ones, part stainless tub, part plastic, all plastic for a cheaper price, all metal, etc. and I stopped at the classic type of heating element that is inside a stainless steel tub for multiple reasons, I wanted heated dry feature, which enables rinse only feature too, and I wanted sanitize feature, which also means you have steam sanitize available. Plastic tubs don't have that because of the high heat that it produces, and hidden heating element ones must have water flow to do that, so steam sanitize is out of the list of possible features. This design is classic for number of reasons, such as energy and water efficiency, resistance to corrosion, longevity of parts and components, and so on. Water pump is one of the biggest on the market, and design has power filtration that makes it possible to use in water sources that are not the best quality. the shortest operational cycle leaves heavily greased pans spotless and squeaky clean, without any spots. This is additional benefit of higher temp used. Third rack is very useful and unique in other models of this price range. For the money it is a must have dishwasher and I am glad I have it. Capacity and organization of racks is just superb and it is very quiet. Sound signaling is not obtrusive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dishwasher. It’s got plenty of room, excellent layout for dishes, glasses, and silverware. Bonus features for me is the power blast for those really dirty pots and pans, and a easy to reach clean out filter, almost like a commercial setup. Even more of a bonus is the build in third tray on top for flat items, like big spoons etc so they don’t get push around in other compartments. My only reservation for 5 stars is a personal quirk of mine and if this, while it is running on a cycle, it is really quiet, however when it changes to the next cycle it has a clicking noise. It’s just me, my wife doesn’t even notice it, but i do. I do love this dishwasher, and I’ll learn to ignore the clicking.

The Maytag 24 inch top control tall tub dishwasher is just what I wanted. It has three racks with lots of room to fit all my dishes, utensils, cups and pots. The exterior is silver with fingerprint resistant stainless steel. The top control hides the buttons from plain view of anyone especially children. The washing power of this dishwasher allows me to skip soaking because it does a good job of scrubbing the food off the dishes and other things. I’m happy with my Maytag. The delivery was on time and they connected it for us and tested it.

One would think that Maytag becoming Whirlpool brand is a down trend, but looking at this washer... boy, I wouldn't even think of buying another one. Let me tell you why. There are plenty of brands out there claiming to be better than everybody, implementing all new part stainless part plastic gimmicks so they don't pay for a all in stainless steel tub with all the cost of making good seams, that takes skill by the way, not only robotics. They really took Maytag to the next level, putting in this the biggest and baddest pump I've seen on a dishwasher, made in the US, I might add, not only Chinese brands that last an year. I've used before a Maytag, all steel made to withstand a nuclear blast and it had all steel tub with glass plating when stainless steel was prohibitively expensive, and it didn't die, it washed everything you threw at it and it asked for more. This is just the same brand, the same unparalleled quality, the same top materials used and no money spared for anything to bring a superb solution to the market at the cheapest possible price. This is so much better than my old brand, also whirlpool, it is just next level of functionality and stand-aside features. I really wanted a washer without zillion functions, just a few cycles that can was just the way I want, sanitize if I want anything for my toddlers, just rinse if I need and that's it. No fuss no gimmicks. Instead when everybody else was focused on bringing high tech wifi functionality on the market Maytag brought a classic, a Cadillac to the market at the fraction of the price, they are selling it below prices for others that don't even have all steel tub? Just take my money, will you? Installation was a breeze, just plug and play, apart from the hose connection that required pliers. Push in and we're done. Different cycles leave dishes spotless and clean, adding rinsing agent certainly helps although I found it not absolutely necessary to have good looking dishes. Having 3 racks certainly helps, especially with a sanitizing cycle, I have two kids and need to sanitize pacifiers, bottles, etc. In terms of sound insulation, it is not noisy, I clocked it at 32dba at 6 feet in front during rinsing. To me this is very tolerable. I found every aspect of this washing machine to be very well designed and well made with top materials used in every little component .

I am going to write something different than the usual review. Almost everyone write about the Features of the Maytag dishwasher, and yes it does have many Features that give it Advantages that give us many Benefits. The third top rack, specialized wash zones, more cleaning power, reduction in noise during operation, power filtration, exclusive filtration system, the stainless steel interior and the fingermark resistant exterior stainless steel. My wife likes the way it clean and how the dishes look when washed. … So, Now I want to tell y'all about the excellent delivery and setup service that Home Depot uses. The company that does the final mile of the shipping and setup my dishwasher were knowledgeable professional men that were friendly, efficient, quick and neat. The two men that came to my home were the type of hard working folks that are a pleasure to invite it to our home. They were so quiet that our dog did not bark, they were so neat that they even mopped the kitchen floor and also under the counter cleaning the dust from the old dishwasher. I took a photo of them working and it should be somewhere in this review. Now, I only hope that this review helped you.

Maytag Undercounter (24inch)Top Control Dishwasher. Beautiful design and sleek appearance will fit in any kitchen. I love the simplicity of the top control and memory features, set on auto and let the sensor do the work. Really, how many of us actual change the settings from wash to wash. The fingerprint resistant finish is a bonus for those neat freaks like me. It has very quiet operation. It comes with top third rack for small items so you don’t need to take up space in the main tall tub. For those that don’t rinse dishes before loaded (my daughter has 4 kids so can’t blame her), it has a power blast cycle and a dual filtration system to help with those super duty dirty dishes and pots and pans. Very impressed with this new Maytag. ,
