Beautiful tile, thick and of excellent quality. It's easy to install but it seems as though some tiles don't align perfectly when I put the next tile next to the first. I had to move some penny tiles around so that it aligns better. It only happens with certain ones, so it's good to flip around until you fine the perfect alignment. Each penny tile has a darker color around it which makes it pop even after grouting.

Just a huge fan of Penny Round tile because it is just so versatile. This is a great, vibrant color (and shiny)(although I would be inclined to call it "salmon"). I always like to use these when redoing turn of the century homes but i see them working well in a contemporary setting as well. Easy to install as they are on a mesh backer, but you can cut it apart and have a lot of fun. Smaller squares and lines going in any direction. You can even make little flowers! As a mosaic artist on the side, these are just super for me to use. I do recommend them

These tiles are absolutely stunning and the color is much more rich and deep in hand than depicted on pics from the web-page. There are slight color variations within each tile and from tile to tile which offers a very attractive contrast. They are very easy to install with the only drawback being that because of the diminutive size of the tiles, there is a lot more work to grout. They work well as an accent in a larger tile project or even by themselves -though alone on an entire wall, it might be powerfully bold. They are adhered to a sheet of webbing which they can be removed from to create a mosaic. The only real challenge to these tiles is cutting them -because of their diminutive size and the fact that they are round. But care and patience will not only win the day but give you a finished project that will be AMAZING! As a bonus, they were shipped quickly and with care and consideration. I highly recommend these tiles.

So, here is some really nice looking mosaic tile. I love the color and find the round individual tiles attractive. With some white grout to set them off this tile would really pop. Installation will be kind for an advanced do it yourselfer or pro I think. But it will be well worth it. The individual tiles are all glued to a fiber mesh to help you keep the spacing consistant. Very Pretty!

This is very nice quality product. It has a great grey color and gloss finish to it. The size is as they say penny round, I included a picture with a penny on a tile for size comparison. I will be using this as a backsplash in my kitchen, but I could also see this a floor tile or decorative feature in a shower. I would recommend this product to someone looking for something a little different.

This is more like a coral instead of a red or Spanish tile color. They are amazing and very New York high class. These would look good to install for a kitchen backsplash area. They look easy to clean and would be amazing with a charcoal or black grout. If you are questioning the purchase, but one case and you will be delighted.

These are very high quality penny rounds, I have used a blue colored penny round from the same company and I trust them to be high quality. This light green mosaic is appealing to the eye and they contrast or compliment many colors. The one foot sheets are very easy to cut to size whether you are making a border or tiling around a drain. This is my second try with penny rounds and I learned from my mistakes the first time. Spread the thinset very shallow and take your time with the grouting.

Let me start by saying "WOW"! The pictures online do not do these tile justice. They are so beautiful! My grandson says they look like marbles, that's how glossy/shiny they are. I'm struggling to decide what grout goes best with them, though, as I want to be sure to maintain just how special these are when they are installed. So far, I've tried 4 different kinds but I'm sure I'll find one that works!

I just received my Merola “Hudson Penny Round” tile. These tiles look great! They are a gray color with a high sheen. The tile looks solid gray, but if you look closer, it has this translucent look to it. Has a hand crafted look. I took a picture of my main bathroom that has white penny tiles as an accent. I will be doing a similar band in the guest bathroom.

Nice unique tile! Merola makes some really nice tile in hard to find shades and styles and shapes. Very nice for floors, accent walls or backsplashes. They come on a backing so they are simple to install or you can cut to do different designs you create. The color is very deep and rich looking. I really like the simple look, kind of retro, but still modern and timeless.

This 3/4 penny round size grey blue porcelain mosaic tile has a vibrant look to it. The two tone color makes it easier to choose a variety of grout color tones. I chose a bright white grout color and the glossy penny size tile looks vibrant with a glazed finish. Quantity of 10 sheets in each box with the dimension of 12 X 2 5/8 inch. I've installed this tile to our 3 X 4 stand up shower flooring. Prior to install make sure to lay out each sheet to have a better understanding your layout. I had a little issue placing some of the sheets during the slope area of the floor. Be patient and a bit crafty and everything will work out nicely. I'm overall pleased on the final look.

The Hudson Round Silk White Porcelain Mosaic Penny tile is glossy, smooth and sturdy. The bright white centers are surrounded by a gently graduating tan color edge. The white color is reminiscent of marshmallow icing. The sheet is easy to apply and grout, and the mesh backing can be folded and cut to fit different areas. They are very cute and can be used to design large areas as well as creating smaller accents.

The Merola Hudson Round Penny Porcelain Mosaic Tile in Snowcap White Is lighter in color than pictured. They are a soft white surrounded by a beige ring, which helps them to stand out when grouted. They have a warm, creamy tone. They would also be pretty around mirrors or picture frames to coordinate with a design.They are smooth and glossy, easy to apply and clean.

Noir is French for black. These penny sized round tiles feature “an eye-drop effect reactive glaze” which means the black center is mixed and softened as it reaches the edge of the tile. They have a smooth high sheen and no two are colored exactly the same. Very attractive. They are suitable for walls and light traffic areas.During installation special care must be taken to keep the webbing as dry as possible or the penny sized tiles will fall off. No wet saw should be used to cut the tiles only nippers. These tiles are unique and distinctive and busy. A little too busy for me.

The tiles webbed backing is completely flexible and the penny sized mosaic tiles are white and glazed to a high sheen.. No two are colored exactly alike which gives the application depth and interest. These tiles are attractive and will appeal to a certain taste. They are a little too much for me.

When I first opened the box containing these tiles I thought oh my goodness these can make you dizzy!!! They definitely make a bold statement. Each little penny sized mosaic tile has a darker center and the color diminishes as it reaches the outside edge. No two tiles are exactly alike so there is a lot going on. The tiles shine like glass. I read in the installation instructions that if the webbing backed squares need to be cut to fit, nippers should be used on each individual tile. No wet saw. This is a niche product developed for a very specific taste. A little too busy for me.

Merola Crystalline White Penny Tile This porcelain crystalline white penny tile comes on a 12 inch mesh sheet for ease of installation. The finish is a gloss white, with a textured/mottled (not flat/shiny) finish. To me, this is a unique smooth textured finish that is very nice. Merola tile has been good for me in the past, and this tile does not disappoint. I am really happy with these white penny tiles.

Denim Blue Penny Tile This is a beautiful blue porcelain penny tile. The blue is a dark denim color at the center of each penny tile, and has a color gradient out to the edge to almost white at the edge of the tile. The finish is a shiny high glossy look. The tiles come on on a mesh sheet about 12 inches square for ease of installation, but the individual tiles can be removed easily for individual placement as needed. I have used Merola tile for projects in the past very successfully, and this penny tile is another winner.

The Merola Hudson Penny Round Crystalline White Tile is lovely. The tiles are textured on the surface in a way that makes them them seem snowy and they gently reflect the light. I like the uniform white color as well. When grouted, they have a soft appearance that adds a hint of sparkle. They are easy to place.The flexible sheet makes it easy to use for other complementary design projects. They are very pretty.

We bought these tiles for a outdoor project. We used tile adhesive and white grout and put them on our metal side and coffee table under our pergola. Having them on a sheet made it super easy to work with and the extra on the sides was easy to cut off making for an easy and quick project. When the sun goes down and the fairy lights come on the tiles twinkle making it super cute. We have gotten many complements on them.

Merola Tile Hudson Penny Round Storm Grey 12 in. x 12-5/8 in. x 5 mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile, Storm Grey / High Sheen It is difficult to evaluate color over the internet, and this tile, when it arrived, looked more blue to me than grey. But when it is put next to the other colors I ordered, it picks up more grey, and seems to look less blue. I included that photo, and this tile is the upper left tile group in the picture. I think I will combine the two grey tiles in a unique custom design for the shower floor. I am happy with all the porcelain tiles I ordered, finding them of very high quality. They are well secured onto mesh that is easily cut or manipulated into my final design. As a retired interior designer I know color is greatly affected by light, so my final decision will be done in the new bathroom itself, once the windows are installed, but I recommend these Penny rounds as a timeless choice with limitless possibilities.

Merola Tile Hudson Penny Round Crystalline Grey 12 in. x 12-5/8 in. x 5 mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile, Grey / High Sheen This tile is a very light grey with mottled drops of shiny lighter grey creating a spotted effect. It is so light I was not sure if it was actually the white, until I put the 4 colors I ordered together on the floor. The light grey is the bottom right sheet in my picture. Each tile has an added top texture which increases the element of grip to the tile, and makes it a good choice for my shower floor. The fact that the Penney round tiles are small , also increases the proportional amount of exposed grouting helps diminish the slip factor when wet, which for me makes it a good flooring choice. This is great tile to help hide water spots if you also have hard water. The small tiles lend themselves to creativity, and will allow me to create a very custom design in my bathroom.

Merola Tile Hudson Penny Round Crystalline White 12 in. x 12-5/8 in. x 5 mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile, White / High Sheen This tile has variations of white with the base shinier and a mottled texture added on top giving the appearance of water droplets. The mottled texture gives a better grip factor for bath or shower room wet floors. If you have hard water like me, this tile is the perfect choice to hide the unsightly spots hard water makes on a smooth surface. I always choose porcelain tile, because it is much harder than ordinary ceramic tiles so it is also harder wearing. Unlike real stone which can be damaged by bleach or other cleaners, porcelain is impervious to any cleaner I use.
