Professional contractor attempted install twice and failed twice. Tiles were not uniform pattern and did not have uniform spacing.

I'm going to put these MEROLA Tiles in the bathroom and the mud room at the front door, they are the perfect size for both projects !! I'm just preparing the floor now and getting ready to lay them, they are easy to install and are going to fit the style and age of my home !! I Just Love the Look !!

I used this tile for flooring in a small bathroom (5X7) and it looks great with a real vintage feel. Definitely want to have an experienced tile installer lay these tiles since there is an alternating pattern to follow and the grout spacing consistency could be quite difficult for beginners.

Tiles look amazing and were easy to install. Low sheen. Exactly what we were looking for. We used dark gray grout with ours.

The back tile matte did came loose from the tile.

Looks great! Would have been 5 star except the contractor said they had a terrible time installing due to a mixed batch of tiles that were of the wrong size mixes into the box. Threw off the project by a few hours once they realized there were bad tiles in the bunch.

We loved the look of this tile in the store, but it is a nightmare to install. I am not a union tiler, but I am a contractor who installs tile frequently. When the mesh backing absorbs even the slightest bit of moisture, it allows the tiles to stretch and shrink slightly. It requires constant tweaking to ensure that spacing remains consistent. Also, there are knots in the string backing that raise the tile slightly (less than 1/32nd") that don't cause issues in the field, but on the edge of the tiles (where the backing stops), they tip down and leave slight slopes. So, where two tiles meet it leaves a small channel in the tiles. Hard to see after installing the tile, but easy to see after grouting. To sum up: if you're aware of all the intricacies of this tile, you can get a good install. But in my opinion, it's not worth the extra heartache.

Be mindful when installing about keeping the tiles the exact same direction. Otherwise it will look sub par

Classic pattern but backing is brittle and tiles fall off easily.

Backing is terrible! Had to return it and pick out something else.
