I bought this to drill through a 6" thick concrete foundation for a dryer vent. I would say the bit got 1/2" in, and that's being generous. The material was apparently too hard for the bit.

This bit cut through 10" rock like it was butter. I am very pleased with it.

Was very pleased to find that these are made in Germany, as anyone in the trades that does any amount of masonry drilling knows is what you want in a carbide bit.
I don't always carry my large corded SDS-Max rotary hammer with me in the truck, so these are great to keep in with my M18 Fuel cordless SDS-Plus that I do keep with me, for the times that I didn't realize ahead of time that I would be needing to make a larger hole in concrete. Saves me a trip back to the house.
Note that these are sold as just the core bit itself, and you will need an SDS-Plus thin-wall core bit shank adapter, of which Milwaukee has available in several lengths.
Tool worked good as expected
Delivery was quick received as expected

Does not work
Simply bought this to cut two holes in some brick for 2 bath vents and all it did was make an outline of the hole. I followed what little directions there is about it which was not to use Hammer mode on the SDS, but after that failed I tried it with Hammer mode and it didn't do anything. Had to do it the old fashion way. Do not buy

Threads on Inside Stripped Easily
Thought this product was great on the first use, went right through brick and mortar. On the second use the threads on the inside stripped instantly and I can not get it to thread back on the auger piece. Its just a waste now and 1-week after the year return window. If the threads on the inside were as solid as the rest of it then this product would be ideal. Spend the extra money and go with Bosch.

bought with 3/8"x13" adapter , waste of $130. the centering bit doesn't stay in the adapter and the hole saw binds in concrete. over an hour and may have have got 1/4" of depth.
