This hole saw, in combo with the starter bit, worked really great. Built a circular dam and filled with water around the hole with plumbers putty to keep the saw cool and to soak the stone dust. Had to remove the starter bit with a hex tool once the hole got deep enough, saw wouldn't go any further. Made a clean hole in a granite countertop for installing a garbage disposal button. Button fits in the hole perfectly.

The pilot hole part (Milwaukee) that was recommended for use with this circular bit, which should stabilize it when piercing the stone surface, is not long enough, causing the bit to bounce around when starting to drill. The job got done, but it was messy.

Perfect for drilling through granite tops.

You need to have an additional shaft/center core that was NOT called out, so I returned it.

Bought it to bore a hole through a block wall for a conduit pass through. Although not the intended purpose of this bit, it was inexpensive and I only needed it for a onetime job. Much less money than a core bit and performed beautifully and quickly gave me a very clean hole, and the bit isn’t ruined. I’m sure I can use it again many more times.

Effective when used correctly with a large arbor and a hammer drill. An impact drill will not accept the required large arbor. During the 5 minutes of drilling the hole I used up 2.5 rechargeable batteries, so plan accordingly. If your hammer drill has an "always on" switch, then you will not be required to squeeze the drill's trigger for minutes at a time. I recommend a duty cycle of one minute of drilling and two minutes of cool down.

Hole saw worked great once I found an arbor that fit it. Do not purchase the retractable tip arbor that is recommended for Diamond Plus hole saws, because it is too big, but they don't tell you that.

These do fantastic at drilling through tile, which I do regularly. Just keep some water on the bit and take it slow and it will cut right through.

Please see previous review on the Milwaukee pilot drill we used with this hole saw. Either the pilot drill or this hole saw failed to complete the hole. Would give this saw a zero or minus five rating if I could.

Had used some low quality priced product and ruined several tile. Bought this drill bit and cut all my holes with NO damaged tiles there is no replacement for quality and this product delivers.
