Works great. I used it to drill through a 100 year old oak beam on top of the foundation for a new spigot.

Is really helpfull but first use and the screw what help to lock just don't work..

This is one of those tools you may not need often, but when you do you really need it. This is the larger 3/8” size, and you will only want to use a 3/8” chuck bit in it. The ¼” bits are the wimpy ones which fit in the quick change chucks. This is well built like all Milwaukee tools, heavy to the point that it just dares you to break it. I like the recessed set screw so it does not damage the wood during a drill. Well made tool that you will pass down to your grandchildren someday.

It was everything that it described to be

Jam nut loosens and have to stop and tight en every 30 seconds of drilling

I used this with a 3 inch diameter auger for fence posts worked perfectly easy on the back as my auger bit was only 1 foot in length

I would have given this 5 stars if it automatically locked in the bit instead of requiring a set screw. it serves the purpose well for extending the 3/8 drive bits.

This extension just does its job. I needed to put a hole saw through a couple joists and the extension was much easier than trying to get the drill up into a very tight bay. So I went through a couple joists since I needed to bore them out anyhow. Nothing came loose and holes are straight. Not sure there's much else to expect out of this. As a DeWalt tool owner, Milwaukee just makes the best accessories/bits/etc.

Pretty sure I left this in the bagging area and never went back to get it.

It worked but the set screw kept loosening up.

I don’t like the Allen set screw

Needed for a smaller 1-1/8” hole, so the extension needed to have a tight diameter. Worked great!!

Works in tight spaces. Great for panel and cabinet work. Ideal for hard to reach areas
