Q:My Milwaukee arbor fits into an 11/32 socket. Does this fit (Milwaukee and other's) 11/32 arbors? I'm not understanding the 3/8 naming.

    Answer This Question

    A:  All I can tell you is that 11/32 = .343, and 3/8 = .375. 3/8 is larger than 11/32 by .032; Which is bigger by 1/32 or .031.

A:  "A: No. Not for a 3/8 diameter without enlarging the socket. It will work for a 23/64 diameter without modifications. by xsmem Nov 13, 2021" 23/64 refers to the bit that will fit this extender, if it wasn't clear to the reader.

A:  Take a pair of pliers from the FRONT on the bottom retainer (the tabs will be on the opposite side)of each side and bend up (or down). The tabs will slide through the holes.

A:  I used a pocket knife personally. I cut away at the plastic the bit will eventually break loose. However a pair of diagonal side cutting pliers would be a safer bet.

A:  Yes, you can. I have used more than that connected together. I recommend periodically checking the set screws to ensure they remain tightened as on a couple of rare occasions they became loose over time. Overall, this product worked well for me.
