While they seem like they are well built they do not cut very easy. Will not cut velcro, jetline or string one handed like every other pair of snips I've owned. Cutting cat 5-6a cable is more of a chore than necessary, forget cutting the pairs or strands separately, they wouldn't even cut bare fiber strands without folding them between the blades, I never use them unless I have to. I used them as soon as I bought them and was really disappointed in their performance, they were put in a bag of tools I rarely to never use, you know that bag that has tools you used once and now they have their own tool bag. It really sucks because I am a Milwaukee man and when I heard they were releasing datacom tools I couldn't wait, I even drove out of my way to get these because the stores nearest to me didn't have them yet, this was years ago by the way, I am only just writing this review because I had to use them after losing my trusted snips and was reminded how much they suck! Get a pair of Wiss data snips, they are superb, and on sale for $11, even regular price of $14 is way better than Milwaukee's failure. Back to the drawing board with these Milwaukee, I know you can do it. I have yet to see anyone else around me use them, and I am surrounded by Milwaukee fans.

They are the best snips ive bought

They cut well and feel good in your hands. But the nut on the pivot point sticks out too far so it doesn't fit in my leather pouch (Kline 5187). I'm working on stretching it out, but in the meantime I bought a different pouch. I have recommended this to friends.

These snips don't cut anything after a month..

These are the only shears I love. The ergonomics are great, the scissors sharp, and they'll take years of rough treatment.

Thicker cushioning than other brands I have used allowing more torque for cutting and more control.

The worst pair of electrician scissors I’ve ever bought I’ve been doing the telecommunications trade for 14 years and I am a member of the IBEW and I’ve purchased several pairs over my career and these are hands-down the worst I’ve ever had

I’ve worked in the low voltage field for the last 5 years and am always looking for a great day in and day out scissor—as it is the tool that I use most often for cutting cables and in my termination process. I’ve had 2 pairs of these scissors. My first pair was great, the blades never loosened and I had them for about a year and a half before I was thinking I needed to get a new pair, the first ones were getting worn down and the edge just wasn’t there anymore. The second pair that I ordered, I’ve struggled with from the start. The blades just didn’t seem right out of the package, they cut cables fine, but the bolt lock will not stay tight. They also will not cut pull strings, mule tape, or Velcro. I really want to love them, Milwaukee is my go to tool manufacturer. I don’t know if I just got a bad pair or what the deal is.

Dope scissors. They cut really good.

I'm a fan of the Milwaukee brand, but these scissors on the other hand just don't cut it, really. The leverage is all wrong on these, and it makes it very difficult to cut bundles of cable(cat cable). With the normal data scissors you can cut multiple cables(4 or more) at once, not with these. Plus, the wire gullet makes it difficult to cut hook and loop strap used to dress in the cables.

Nice product. Cuts cat5e and cat6 pretty easily. Surprised it didn’t cut cat6a as easily. Will lee in tool bag though.

Love them, took a little bit to get use to the size change. Very impressed with them.
