Great tool works like a champ

Better than expected

Didn’t have any luck on cutting through copper pipe

I used it for a job I had worked great, saved a lot of time.

Expected much more from Milwaukee as everything I own is from them but this tool doesn’t cut it! Doing plumbing and after six cuts the head got wet(water in pipe- go figure) and stopped working. Tool is worthless and being a gift I can’t even return!!

love the tool works great. cuts super fast. however i was using it today for the first time doing a boiler install and it just stopped working. i put in 4 different batteries that all worked on other tools. i just purchased this on 1/27/23

Do the copper works too fast

I dont know how this would work for a pro, but for me doing tedious tube cutting to mate various couplings in close quarters made my last project a breeze. didn't know if purchasing the tool was worth the infrequent times I use it but I'll just have to inventory reasons to use it, haha

it does not cut pipe completely i have other Milwaukee tools that work great

I've owned several of these over the years, and it seems over time they keep getting worse. the first one I owned, it would grab the pipe nice and tight and almost spin the pipe right out of your hands, but it would cut FAST.I purchased a new one after that one had put in its time and was tired only to find my new one could barely cut through anything, it would take atleast 30 seconds to cut through 3/4" type L. I contacted milwaukee and they had me send it back for warranty, I then received a brand new one in a box and it turned out to be the same issue, this time with 1/2" type L. while this tool does still serve a purpose, I'm not using it for the fast cutting speed like my old one had, it's only used for hard to reach, awkward cuts now.This is a true disappointment for what was once a great tool

Like the title says. I used for 6 cuts the same day I bought it. Then, like others have seen here, it gave some red lights mid-cut and completely stopped working. HD took back wothout question. Milwaukee, this is conpletely unsat. Either the design is junk, or your QA is severely lacking. Regardless, you need to do better, no excuses, or your company will quickly fail in today’s competetive market where lost time is money. Can’t recommend a buy on this one, save yourself the headache and the hours wasted.

It keeps sticking and doesn’t work properly. Not sure if it defected.

The price just jumped $50 on these overnight! Don’t buy!

I cut into 3/4” copper at an odd angle. The cutter got wet and thats all she wrote. I immediately removed the battery and shook it to remove as much water as possible. Who makes a $140 pipe cutter that can’t get wet? Milwaukee does! Less than a year old

This tool worked Exceptionally ! Increased my efficiency and reduced the time I had spend on project !
