Absolutley love this tool. Cut a crossmember out from under a car with no problem. One hand operation is so handy. Its heavy duty. It's fairly small but has some weight to it. Built solid. The 5.0 battery lasts long time. Easy blade change. Battery has indicator light when you press to see how much battery left. Cool tool!! Well worth the money. Charger included as well.

This tool was the best investment ! My milwaukee sawzall decided to quit on me last minute on a job and I rushed and got this hackzall and got the job done ! Great tool great price!

I've used this saw for about a month now. I bought the saw (only), blades, battery, and charger at different places, kit was not cost effective. Pros: Light weight, well balanced. Minimal vibration. For a recip saw, very easy to use, especially one handed. Very robust, strong little saw for it's size. The trigger controlled speed worked well, was easily able to start cuts, and tailor tricky, non linear cuts. I got a 400 series extended li Ion battery, it's mandatory, and lasted for about 2.5 hours of hard core cutting. Recharged pretty quickly, about 45 minutes. Blade mounting and un-mounting very easy with twist hasp. Trigger actuated lamp very handy, bright enough. Cons: Ext Battery very expensive. ($90.00), and only lasts 2.5 hrs, but this saw uses a lot of energy, this is to be expected. For light use only, if you have 50 metal pipes to cut, or a house to bring down, use a corded sawsall. *Don't get it wet, not even a little bit!* Didn't have this problem myself, but many reviews mentioned it. Wish it had an adjustable blade guide. Wish it had a blade holster so I could throw it in my tool bag without removing the blade. Let it cool off after extended, hard use. This is my go to saw for most applications now. Use leather gloves and eye protection. Flick on the safety before you put it down, especially if you have kids.

used this saw to cut off pvc pipe and it was fast a true cut. Would recommend to all.

This has easily become my favorite tool. Unlike my two handed, corded sawzall, I find this one easy to handle. It has plenty of power, and great run time with the XC battery. The LED light is convenient when I was using it in the basement. and it's smaller size allows me to use it in places I can't get my two handed saw to fit.

This was great deal, I bought an m18 5.0 and got a free tool the Hackzall M18. And the charger was the m12-m18 combo, not just the m18. Great deal!!

Works good and great battery life.

Easy to use. Light weight but strong. Excellent cutting power. Interior Demolition contractor and I gave it a good test. I recommend it.

Has been using it for almost a year. Here is my comment: 1. The head is stuck and not easy to insert the blade. 2. The battery connection is loose and does not provide power. Overall, I do not recommend it.

This tool is much more handy for small jobs than the full sized sawzall…and works better in tight spots with plenty of power !

It feels good in the hand. I have not had a chance to use it yet.

I chose Milwaukee because it's always been a good reliable heavy duty American brand name. I was disappointed that this tool was made in China

I have a wooded lot with many smaller trees and bushes that get overgrown. I tried a small battery operated chain saw but it was dangerous and really didn't work that well. Bought this Milwaukee Tooll Hacksaw with a pruning blade and it performed way beyond my exoectation. The help I received picking this item was exceptional at Home Depot of West Bend Wi.

This has easily become my new favorite tool, have already used it on several home improvement jobs.
