Another great product from Milwaukee, this Shockwave Impact Duty 3 1/2 inch T-15 Torx Alloy Steel Screw Driver Bit has some new features, Wear Guard Tip (TM) which increased wear resistance, that protects the fit over the life of the bit. The Alloy 76(TM)Steel is customized and heat treated per tip type to extend the life of the driver up to 50X. Also you have the Shockwave Impact Duty bit that optimized each tip type and length of driver bit to absorb peak torque and prevent the bit from breaking. These tips are also Laser hardened and the bits are Laser etched size for identification. This is the reason that I chose this product to use in my workshop.

Strong bits. I am building a deck and the special lag screws required by code, if needing to apply fascia requires this bit. You are provided thr bit for the lags in thr package but it's junk and burns up quick. These bits worked perfectly and extended longer using them in 20+ 8inch specialty lags, these show no sign of wearing down, where the ones provided were tossed hourly.

I like these new Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty 3 1/2 inch Torx T-10 Laser harden bits at their tips. I have a lot of Milwaukee products in my workshop and they are great work products. This Steel Alloy is a Custom Alloy( 76 TM) and is customized and heat treated ( Laser Harden) per tip type to extend the life of the bit ( 50X). The impact bit also have a optimized Shockzone for each tip type and length of bit to absorb peak torque and prevent breaking. The Wear Guard Tip (TM) has increased wear resistance, which protects the fit over the life of the bit. A Laser Etched size for easy identification and precise fit to prevent stripping and wobble. This is the reason I chose this product for my workshop.

The strength and length are perfect for the application I needed the Torx30 bit. I haven't broke one yet! #WATL

I bought these to drive 1/2" long number 8 sheet metal screws. Each of the five bits broke on the first screw I used it on. I don't agree that these last "30x longer than typical tips" when the tips break off on first use. I would say less than 1/30th the life of typical tips. Maybe I got a defective batch, but what I got was junk.

Milwaukee shockwave bits are best out there hands down. Dewalt doesn't even compare especially if you have Milwaukee fuel line of tools the dewalts cant handle the power.

Milwaukee Torx bits perform well above any phillips, however, they like others, when used extensively, need replaced often and all sizes should come in larger packs of 25 or fifty, not just for price but convenience.

Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE Torx #30 3.5 in. Impact Duty Steel Screwdriver Bit (5-Pack) review: Another outstanding Milwaukee product! I usually use a magnetic bit extender and change bits in the head of the extender. This is my first time to use a Torx solid bit on a long shaft without the need of a magnetic bit extender. While this does eliminate the advantage of a magnetic 'sticky' it is quick and fast and handles the demands of an impact driver. This would probably be just the ticket for putting down Torx deck screws! I used it and am quite pleased with it. The bits do seem to last an extremely long time! The size of the bit is labeled very clearly so it is easy to pick out in a toolbox container. Very glad to have this additional, useful and powerful tool! There ya go!

Well made and they fit fastener recesses well. The megnetic feature is not very strong but they are magnetic and can pick up a 2.5” #10 wood screw if youre careful

This 5-piece pack of Milwaukee Torx bits (Model 48-32-4578) may well be the last set of #20 Torx bits you'll ever buy. The “Wear Guard” tips fit tightly in the screw head, and haven't shown signs of any wear after dozens of screws driven into hardwood – even used with an impact driver. There is virtually no slipping, though I have seen metal filings coming from the screw itself when I intentionally allowed the bit so slip. The 1/4” hex shanks fit firmly in every tool I use and there is very little “wobble” of the bit. The 3 1/2” length is perfect for most applications, but 2” bits are also available when shorter length is needed. At less than $1.60/bit these are a great value!

These Milwaukee bits (model 48-32-4687, package of 5) are a perfect compliment for large (T30) Torx head screws. The “Wear Guard” tip is seemingly indestructible, showing no sign of wear after driving dozens of large screws into pressure-treated lumber. They fit tightly and rarely slip, even driving screws below the surface using the impact drill. The hex shank fits firmly into the driver, and there is very little wobble of the shaft. I like this shorter 2” length for the larger T30 screws, as it gives a bit more control, but other lengths are available. I suspect the 5 bits will last me for many, many years of deck building, fence constructions, and general cabinetry work. These bits are great quality at a great price.

Milwaukee continues to deliver high quality, tough tools built to last and their Torx bits are no exception. They are expertly machined with no flaws. When you pick one up you can feel the quality. The tips are designed to go as deep as possible into the torx screw or fasteners. For jobs where you'll want or need more reach the 3 1/2 inch length on these will come in very handy. They work with all 1/4 inch hex chucks as well as those with quick connect locking collars these work perfectly. Whether it be a power drill, power driver or impact driver these are built to handle them. This 5 bit set will last a long time whether it be at home or on the job this is the set to have.

These Milwaukee Torx bits a built tough, when you pick one up in your hand you can feel they are substantially built to last. I examined the tips and they are flawless and machined perfectly. They are designed to fit as deeply as possible into the torx screw with no play or wiggle.The will fit any 1/4 inch hex chuck and work with and are designed for quick connect, locking collar chucks too. The long 3 1/2 inch length comes in handy where you need a longer reach. They are built strong to handle the torque generated by power drill and drivers so no worries there. 5 of these will last a very long time.

Milwaukee makes tools that last and this is no exception. They are very finely and accurately machined and when inserted into the torx fastener or screw there is no play at all. The tips are designed so that they will go into the screw as deep as needed. The 2 inch lenght will give you a little more reach than a standard size bit. The fit all 1/4 inch chucks and they are also compatible with drivers with a locking, quick release collar. For home or on the job these are going to last a long time.

They are beautifully machined and crafted for strength. In this 5 pack of 2 inch bits you will get a little bit more of "reach" than with standard length bits. They work in all drills and powered screwdrivers. They also have a locking collar so if your driver has the quick connect collar these will work perfectly. 5 of these will last a long time!

A 5 pack of Torx T10 sized 1" long driver bits for any 1/4" hex shank equipped tool, including impact drivers, and made from a hardened steel alloy with a shank capable of "yielding" slightly to external forces without losing its original shape and properties. My new choice for wood screws are Torx type screws and using a MILWAUKEE® SHOCKWAVE™ Torx #T20 3 1/2" Impact Duty™ Steel Screwdriver Bit. These bits have a laser hardened tip which is designed to extend bit life by a factor of 50. The precise sizing of the tip head fits a Torx Screw snuggly which prevents stripping the screw head. For me this has always been a problem when seating a Phillips wood screw. The ¼ inch hex end of the driver bit is laser etched with the size T20,T25 etc. The size of the Torx screw is typically shown on the box of Torx fasteners so you always know what size of driving bit to use. The Torx bits work well in both1/4-inch hex impact drivers and/or keyless chuck drill drivers. I would recommend these bits to both the DIYer or professional craftsmen.

Unlike nail gun fasteners, a 2x4 frame that is built using Torx screws won’t loosen when rocked back and forth during movement around the shop. These frames might be for carts, chopped fire wood racks or temporary construction projects. With this change, I needed to find a good Torx Screw driving bit. My choice is the MILWAUKEE® SHOCKWAVE™ Torx #20 2" Impact Duty™ Steel Screwdriver Bit. These bits have a laser hardened tip which is designed to extend bit life by 50X. The precise sizing of the tip head fits a Torx Screw snuggly and prevent stripping the screw like is common with a Phillips wood screw. The ¼ inch hex end of the driver bit is laser etched with the size. The Torx bits work well in both1/4-inch hex impact drivers and/or keyless chuck drill drivers. I would recommend these bits to both the DIYer and professional craftsmen. My bet is a person will lose the bit long before wearing it out.

This Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE bit product, Cat No. 48-32-4579. came in a 5-pack. This is the first time that I have used this Milwaukee 3-1/2-inch T25 torx impact bit for a serious project, it involving replacing all of the deck boards for a 600 sq. ft. deck, including the stairs. I started with the expectation that I would wear out the entire set with this project. A couple of these bits did the entire job of driving the screws needed, two of us working with separate impact tools. I like the 3-1/2 inch bit length as I did not have to bend over so far to clearly see past the impact driver to observe the screw and bit in action. I have built three decks in the past as a do-it-your-self handyman and am sold on Torx screws and this Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE technology to resist screw head rounding and bits that wear out quickly. This bit technology is by far the best that I have used in an impact driver.
