I am a Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) member and we use safety vests for our preparedness pack. Milwaukee has made a very nice safety vest with exactly what I am looking for. It’s well made and durable with a cooling open weave. The cinch straps on the sides help adjust the vest to your shape. High visibility reflective strips are well placed on the vest. A clear front pocket let’s you show credentials so you don’t have to have a lanyard badge.

This Milwaukee safety vest is very light and with 27 pockets it has lots of room for storage for anything you may need on the job. Though it is light it is strong. it is made of a breathable cloth material and is machine washable. It is bright yellow and orange with reflex strips sewn in for safety, No one will miss you in this vest. It is well made and should last years

Milwaukee made a great high visibility vest with lots of pockets and features. 9 pockets with velcro, an ID window/holder, back opening for fall protection ring pass thru, and a zipper closure. The material mesh is lightweight, breathable, fast drying and cool. There are also antimicrobial odor/bacterial properties. The reflective stripe illuminates brightly at night when a light shines on it. The size is listed as two combined sizes because it has an adjustable strap on the inside to size this properly, this feature is good to have the size big to cover thicker winter clothes, and then adjust the size smaller for summer use. This is an ANSI Class 3 rated vest which is based the amount of both reflective material and high visibility fabric making up the vest. Class 3 is has the greatest amount of reflective and high visibility material (Class 3 require a minimum of 210 square inches of material, which means a sleeveless version will not meet class 3 standards unless it is a very big size). Machine washable and dryable for a maximum of 25 cycles. Limited lifetime warranty.

This is a great vest. This is made from a more durable material than a normal mesh vest. It is very heavy duty . The pockets were large enough to hold my Smartphones. The largest phone I had on me was a Note 10. It took a little while to insert the phone into the inside pocket on the left but I was able to get it in there. One of the interior pockets on the right hand side has a zipper, well it's more of a pouch which is good. There is a pocket in the rear but I do not see myself using that. The loops near the chest are good for walkie talkies. This way you can ensure that you hear them by keeping them near your ears without using your hands. I sometimes use it with my measuring tape, and smaller lightweight ones work well. There is some cushioning for your Neck Bones which is good. I would like to see a remova le option got that, so you can easily wash it when it has absorbed a lot of sweat.

This vest has a ton of pockets to the point where I don’t even want to wear a toolbelt. First the size is L/XL and I am 5‘10“ about 175lbs and it fit me great. It has like a cool string on the sides to adjust it so it won’t be so bulky. This thing is pretty heavy duty and I even snagged it on an edge metal and it did not tear or anything. The material feels thicker than the usual material for the bright vest. It’s getting pretty hot outside and I didn’t feel like I was too hot in it more than usual. And it’s actually pretty lightweight considering all the pockets and features. The colors are really bright in a couple of guys on the job really liked it and said I stood out more than the cones themselves. I washed it once already lightly and it wasn’t too difficult to wash it. I ended up hang drying it because my dryer gets really hot. Storage on it is awesome. I could literally fit an iPad in the back of it. The zippers are really heavy duty and I’m sure they won’t just come on done. It literally has pockets everywhere for more than just pens. I do all kinds of work and I definitely would prefer to wear this over a toolbelt if I can. It’s definitely worth the money because it is a heavy duty vest. I will end up purchasing another one or maybe two more.

The Milwaukee Large/X-Large orange class 2 polyester mesh high visibility safety vest with 9-pockets is a light, comfortable vest that will definitely get you "seen" when you are working. The vest has a zipper closure, while the pockets are velcro closing. The bag it comes in is a resealable type bag and really makes it easy to throw this vest into a tool bag or case for easy transport. Because the vest is so light, it easily folds and actually fits back into the bag! I'll be wearing it when out on the road on my tractor or working near traffic. The reflector stripes make you easy to spot in the evening or at night. It will also be great for camping when I am riding my bike around in the campground or out on the road. With 9 pockets, you should have enough storage for a lot of stuff. All in all, a very nice lightweight vest for a lot of things requiring high visibility.

Pockets, pockets and more pockets. So many you can forget where you put things in the vest. The Milwaukee yellow class 2 Surveyors safety vest model 48-73-5162 does actually have 27 different pockets ranging from small pen holders to large zippered. Being class two the vest has less reflective material than class three and this vest is sleeveless. The vest is ¼ open mesh and ¾ solid 600 denier material with all arm openings, bottom, pockets and neck opening reinforced. The entire back is mesh but only the upper back is open with the lower back covered with a large zippered pocket made from the 600 Denier material. This large pocket is identified for possible tablet storage but could be used for lunch, raincoats etc. as it is very large and zippered. The upper back has a fall protection pass through opening. All the zippers are heavy duty with the main front and large rear having pull tassels. There are four mic or mic cord holders, all on the upper chest each side, two inside and two outside the vest. There are two water bottle holders with elastic draw strings on each side along with adjustable waist cord each side. The collar is padded and there are six reinforced ½ inch metal eyelets on the front of the vest along with aa clear I.D. holder pocket. The padded collar is a must have as you can feel the additional weight of the 600 Denier material on your neck ands shoulders. The vest fit just as nice over tee shirt as it did over a winter hoodie, plenty of freedom. I used this vest cutting a few trees on my property as I could carry all my wedges and other items in the vest and not having to carry a bag. I also use this around large equipment to remain visible to the operators. I did use it for grade layout and again the high visibility material made a big difference. Very well made and rugged vest, recommended.

Perfect vest for keeping yourself safe while riding a bicycle on the road, during hunting season or any place where you need people to be able to see you. The Milwaukee nine pocket class 3 high visibility safety vest is a full mesh vest with sleeves model #48-73-5132. Class 3 means you have 310 square inches of 2-inch-wide reflective tape that plainly outlines you as a person. The vest has three pen pockets, two exterior chest pockets with a clear I.D. holder pocket over the right pocket which also has Velcro patches. The one inside pocket is on the left side. Both the left and right upper chest has an inside and outside mike or mic cord holder. There is a fall protection pass through on the upper back and there is a waist adjustment on the left side. The sleeves, bottom and fall protection pass through opening are nicely rolled and sewn. The material itself is anti-microbial and washable. I use this vest on my bicycle so drivers know I’m there and the wife does the same when she rides her scooter. WE both think our wearing of this vest has reduced the number of near misses from drivers of cars and that’s a good thing for both. We also use it when outside during hunting season as wearing just a hat is not always enough. This is a well-made product, great price point, not hot and fits over winter outer wear. If you want a non-mesh front, then the model 5142 would be correct for you. Recommended.

I have never seen a poor Milwaukee product. This is inline with that history. Safety vests are cheap and disposable. However, if you spend just a little bit more on a Milwaukee it will be less likely to needs replacing as soon as a cheap one. That translates into less time not working and gathering supplies. This is a Milwaukee Vest Class 3, bright yellow in Large/ XL. It has pockets which is great. My only wish is that it was a true vest which would be more practical over a shirt. Other than that, it is lightweight, bright and does the job! Milwaukee is a great brand and does have many styles to choose from; next time I'll try the vest without sleeves since the weather is so warm here.

Useful, mesh (very breathable) safety vest for roadway use (Type R). This is Class 3, which is the highest amount of reflective material listed in the ANSI 107-2015 safety standard. This vest is NOT rated as flame resistant. I am 180 lbs and 6 feet tall and this is pretty big on me. It works fine, but would fit a larger person just fine, too. It has a pass through on the back for a safety harness, and lots of pockets for general use.

This class 3 mesh high visibility safety vest by Milwaukee is a great value for just over $20. It has plenty of pockets and fits true to size. It is very comfortable and "airy" to allow air to flow through and keep you cool. There is a strap in the inside to adjust around the waist. Great reflectivity to keep you highly visible at night. A convenient clear front pocket to keep your ID.

Theres a massive difference between the cheap generic safety vests you can pickup at any hardware store and this safety vest. First, this one is very high quality materials, well made, lots of pockets, and very bright in color. I'm a large guy at 6' 5" 270lbs, this LG/XL fits me well without being restrictive or too baggy. The bag it comes in is resealable so a nice little touch to keep the vest in so it doesn't get messed up in your truck storage or toolbox. I keep this in my truck for roadside or off-road recovery needs.

It is constructed of high-quality perforated materials, designed to be lightweight but rugged, comfortable, and be seen in any environment and light condition. You will be seen. There are cords and keepers to easily adjust the vest for comfort and the perforated fabric virtually eliminates heat buildup. The sleeves are generous and extend to just above my elbows. Easy to fit over outerwear.

This extremely well made, well thought out, efficiently designed utility safety vest, has one glaringly obvious immediately apparent flaw: the shoulders don't lay flat, they stick up like (empty) padded shoulders. As much as I like everything else about this vest, that one thing would keep me from buying it. Not sure how that got past the manufacturers, but that's the first thing I look for on ANY vest of any sort. Other than that, great safety vest. First impression, this is definitely an extra large, looked pretty huge on my large size frame. But it has tightening strings at the midway point and bottom, that snug it up real nice, and it looks just fine. Many, many pockets, loops, pouches, straps, velcro patches, & metal rings to store, pocket, clip, and hang pretty much anything you would ever need to. I'm not a surveyor, I just like the phenomenal utility of this particular vest. Heavyweight construction, very solid, has a padded collar that feels really comfortable on your bare neck. And of course, it's extremely high visibility. Great, all around vest. I tried everything I could think of to get the shoulders to lay down, short of washing it (which might help, the label says it's good for 25 washings), but nothing worked. I wouldn’t recommend it for that reason.

I work in a big warehouse and I'm the only one who has sleeves on their safety vest! It's very comfortable and breathes good. I like that the zipper goes up almost as high as a jacket, it helps keep the vest from drooping. It says nine pockets, that's a bit of an exaggerated claim since all the pockets (whatever the count) are on either side of the chest. Good stitching on strong material.

Once again, Milwaukee Tool has produced a product that far exceeds my expectations. This Orange Class 2 Surveyor's High Visibility Safety Vest is first-class in every way. The material and build-quality is excellent, with solid seams, heavy-duty zipper, and attention to detail thoughout. The 27 pockets provide plenty of room for internal and external storage. Included are dedicated pockets for 2 water bottles, pens, a tablet, hearing protection, an ID holder, and much more. There are 2 draw cords inside to allow for some size adjustment and a padded collar for increased comfort. The fabric is a sturdy 600D weave and is tear resistant. The combination orange/yellow hi-viz color and the plentiful use of reflective stripping provide great visibility in all light conditions. I'm very impressed with this vest - highly recommended!

See photos. It is a little warm for summer but not too bad. It will be great for winter or cold mornings. It is very comfortable and the padded collar is a first for me, it doesn't rub you raw. I am pretty chunky so I didn't have to use the internal size adjustment. Everything about the vest says heavy duty from the zipper to the stitching. I've never had a vest so tough. This safety vest is excellent, and the material is more durable than the standard vest issued by most companies. The internal size adjustment inside the vest gives somebody a contoured design for extended user comfort. The adjustment makes sure the vest is tight and comfortable to your body. There are plenty of pockets that are very useful in a vest: ID holder, pen holder, mic tabs, and other pockets. The product does not have any emitting odors and looks well-made. The seams look sturdy, and I have not had any loose strings. It is a highly reflective material that is bright and excellent for safety. This vest is also great for motorcycle riders since sometimes bikers are often not seen by a motorist, especially during the rain or at night. Overall, I am delighted with this product, which has safety features, is very well-made, comfortable and durable.

Very thick and heavy. A made-to-last vest. Lots of features on it too. Many pockets with velcro for badges and keeping pockets closed. A ID pocket that is clear in the front and a pocket that has places for pens. It has a good fit and has a very thick, solid zipper in front. I cannot stress enough the quality of this vest. Definitely a vest for daily use (or for the occasional user) and has plenty of reflective material on it so you'll be sure to be seen. It also has a slit up on the back of the collar area for pass through of safety/anti falling gear. This has 27 pockets, ample amount for most needs.

Excellent safety vest; got this for use with my RV, so that when I have to stop on the side of the road, or at a rest stop to work on it (which I have), or work on it when parked on the street, other vehicles can see me day or night. I first saw this when the landscape crew in our development started wearing them and it made them stand out even in the shadows of the trees. It is a bright yellow mesh vest with reflective striping front and back and lights up when headlights shine on it. It is extremely light weight and comfortable and can be worn over a jacket if need be. The mesh composition of this vest makes it cool to wear, so essentially you feel like you are not wearing anything. I originally thought that the internal size adjustment was a little cumbersome to get at and use but it just turned out I was going at them wrong. While it says it has 9 pockets, 3 are pen pockets, two are tabs for microphones, and one is a clear ID holder, leaving 3 “real pockets”; however that is plenty and the pen pockets are nice to have. Absolutely a nice find, and recommended. Just get one to keep in your emergency gear for your car: you cannot go wrong.

This Milwaukee brand large / extra large high visibility safety vest is very comfortable. It has plenty of pockets and has the reflective tape bands. The zipper looks to be high quality and very durable. Thin enough to evaporate sweat but thick enough to last a long time. I particularly like the clear pocket for the identification card. The open back support the use of a safety harness when going up a tree or building. The weight adjustment straps are very comfortably placed.

Milwaukee makes the best tools and accessories as evidenced by this high visibility safety vest. It has 27 pockets for all your tools , water, pens, lights and markers. What ever the job calls for it will carry. Great to wear in traffic areas so that drivers can see you day or night. It has several inside pockets to carry items in case it's raining. Made of high quality materials and very reflective. Highly recommend if you are going to be where you need to be seen and have all your small tool with you. The collar is double padded so it doesn't rub on your neck with a great zipper.

This a great, simple safety vest that combines the feature of lots of storage pockets to help in whatever you are doing. I really like the pockets with clear fronts for putting identification cards or project passes that are getting more common. No more lanyard around your neck, in the way, or clipped on badge that you end up losing. The zipper is big and strong that the color and reflective striping will do the intended job. Plenty of room to move around.

Class 3 Mesh High Vis Vest- This is a wonderful vest, very light weight yet sturdy. Loads of pockets including a clear ID pocket and an inside pocket too. I think 6 in all. It has antimicrobial properties to inhibit bacterial growth/stink. It has a zipper closure and internal size adjustment. There are even reflective strips on the sleeves for more visibility. We got them to wear while motorcycle riding...if you can't see this you probably should not be driving!!
