BE AWARE
OUCH!! Home depot has this sealer 1 quart for $100. So after ordering I looked on line and saw every other store with the same product for half the price. Of coarse I sent it right back. BE AWARE of home depots prices, compare.

Rust-Oleum Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus is designed for sealing porous tile, stone, and grout surfaces to provide resistance against water, oil, alkalis, staining, salt ion intrusion, and freeze/thaw damage. 511 Porous Plus is not a surface coating and will not alter
the natural look of the surface. Due to the differences of each substrate, several inconspicuous test patches should be completed to ensure maximum performance.

I applied this product to a crumbling Kasota stone front...
I applied this product to a crumbling Kasota stone front steps and landing area which was less than 2 years since installation. Every day, more stone was cracking and crumbling off. I am not sure if it was from winter weather or the ice melt we'd used. Since applying the 511 Sealant, I've noticed no more crumbling. It has only been a week but I'm hopeful it will have solved the issue and save our beautiful entryway.

I did a lot of research on a product that...
I did a lot of research on a product that would seal my backsplash that I made out of Henry’s Feather Finish. The concrete-look backsplash looked great, but it showed every splash of water. The 511 Porous Plus was so easy to apply, and after the 2nd coat, water just beads up on the surface. The backsplash got very dark as I applied the sealer, but dried unnoticeable. I am very happy with this product!

I’ve only used it on my sample cement tiles to...
I’ve only used it on my sample cement tiles to try to determine if they are too high maintenance. I have applied about five thin coats to the tiles. I’ve placed the cats’ dishes on the tiles and purposely not cleaned up immediately and so far, they haven’t stained. Also drops of water stay in nice beads on the tile.

It's a costly product and it doesn't really protect the stone. I used it on the patio stone and leaves still mar the surface if left on the patio.

Let's see what we can figure out. Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus Sealer is a penetrating sealer, it is not a film forming sealer. Apply 511 Porous Plus as directed on the label, allow the solution to remain on the surface for 3-5 minutes. After that time wipe up all excess sealer with a clean towel. Do not allow the solution to dry on the surface.
