Easy application and I used the foil duct tape to cover drafts coming from the dryer vent .

It’s definitely better than my apartment maintenance tape flex fix. It seals properly and keeps the heat out and cool in for my portable ac.

Okay I have used this tape or the likes on many a/c systems and a few other things but this one was for the bottom of a shower door that was so dull not even Alumabright would make shine so I thought, hmm I wonder and ran to store to buy new tape and well the picture is worth a thousand words. It was all still good but I hated the look and now it's bright like it should be

Great tape for HVAC metal seams but found better use for sealing foam board insulation. Very stickey tape and easy to work with. Stops all air infiltration and makes for a well insulated final job.(Picture) Using 2x2's and R-10 Foam this created a 1.5 inch open channel for air to vent roof heat to top ridge vent. Below the Nashua Taped foam will be R-30 fiberglass insulation giving R40, fully ventilated, ceiling.

Excellent product. This foil tape is easy to use, and unlike other brands I have tried, peels easily from the backing paper, IF you cut it with scissors! When you tear a piece off, it is much more difficult to separate. High strength, completely impervious to light penetration and excellent workability. Used it to secure bubble insulation over my RV windows.

Works great for a variety of projects. I have primarily used it for sealing insulation around hot water pipe insulation/mini-split drain PVC lines. This stuff is a significant step up from your standard duct tape and will not fall off. It has a low profile and can therefore be handy for sealing the inside seams of ductwork when sealing from the outside is not an option.

This is some of the worst tape I've ever tried to use. I tried using it outside (out of the elements,) and it does not stick if the temp is below 40F. adhesive come off the tape onto the topside of the next run. This tape would not even stick to itself. I would not purchase this tape again.

Very sticky. Stops all air from leaking out. Great seal.

I bought this specifically for fixing my car's windshield shade. The shade folds and the fold locations were weakening. Asked for tape built to resist heat. Was given this. Put it on. Seemed strong when I did it, but two days in the heat, and the adhesive got so warm, the tape came up. It even left a streak of adhesive on my windshield. Returned it.

Great all around tape for ductwork and anything HVAC. Very sticky, adheres well and will not lift up. Does not like damp or wet surfaces. Will stick to cold surfaces as long as tape itself is at room temperature. Seals around air leaks and his moldable.

Great product

This stuff is great for duct sealing. It seals well. Don't use the cloth duct tape on HVAC ducts. Don't cut the tape with a knife or scissors. Instead rip the tape to length. The paper backing and tape will have a slight mismatch so you can grip the end and separate it easier. I used it to seal joints in dust collection system ant both ABS and metal ducts.

Great stuff! Very durable. I used this several years ago when i learned that duct tape is not used for heating duct work. You can use this tape for for all kinds of applications.

I bought this over a year ago and I'm still using it. There's lots on the roll, and it does not get old - still sticky as ever. Originally got it for a new water heater vent installation; after a year at fairly high heat, it is still sealed tight. It's super sticky, and on a clean surface it can not be moved if you make a mistake. It's nice also for various non-HVAC projects - I made some nice labels for my milling machine, and the kids used it for school projects.

Used to tape and seal a solar oven, duct tape would just let go and leave a sticky mess. Don't bother getting the 10' roll, it's half the price of the 50'

This insulation tape is the best I’ve used. 50 yards on one roll provided me with enough to cover 20’ of duct work. The insulation I covered was nearly 30 years old and I had no problem with this product “sticking” to the old insulation. I give it 5 Stars !!

This metallic tape is faced with a removable waxy paper which makes it easy to use. While it may be meant for plumbers and HVAC contractors, I use it to make foil-wrapped cardboard box ovens for camping use by my Girl Scouts. The face of the tape is VERY sticky, so once you remove the protective paper layer be very careful to only touch it to the area you want. A box oven made with this tape and heavy kitchen foil wrap can be heated with hot charcoal briquets and makes great cornbread to go with your campfire chili or brownies for dessert! One roll makes 2-3 box ovens.

This product worked perfectly for sealing foil-backed rigid insulation in a cathedral ceiling/roof situation.

I bought this tape at the recommendation of people who cleaned my roof. The vent pipes and stacks had cracks and spaces where water came in. Hopefully after applying this tape, water will not get seep into my attic through these roof pipes. Already, I don't see the sky through the attic around the vent pipes--a good sign!

I have used this product, and I was really satisfied the quality of this.

Our double wall rooftop flue extension had rusted through the outside skin. We contacted Precision Plumbing and asked them repair it. When the tech discovered it was double wall, he advised that the entire flu, all the way down to the furnace would need to be replaced at a cost of around $500. However, he stated that because only the exterior wall was rusted, we should just double wrap it with Nashua, foil tape for around $20. See photo, looks like it will work

I used this foil tape to seal the stovetop air vent connection to the roof vent. It is a very strong tape, and adhesive, that is also heat resistant and was perfect for this job.

Easy to handle. I covered the foam isolating material in the exterior AC connection to prevent sun light damage.

After installing a new furnace, there was a shrill whistle sound coming from around the ductwork. Looking further I found a fairly large gap around where the plenum brings air into the new furnace, I noticed the installer had used foil tape to seal off all the joints. So, I bought this , sealed the openings around the plenum like taping a box. Sure enough, sounds gone. Great for sealing off air leaks in duct work, like returns and supplies, also gas clothes drier. Better than cloth tape. Easy to work with since it has a release paper protecting the adhesive. And it sticks very well.

Tape is easy to apply and seals well. This foil tape will last forever vs regular duct tape.

it's a great product that can be use for multiple kind of jobs. It is my number 1 choice.my last project : I created a small stand to place my nightstand lamp in order to race it up.
