used these to replace wood decking at beach house in OBX. Antique Roman matches the sun-bleached/aged wood perfectly, so you can replace needed sections only. Doesnt rot, raise or splinter (was a constant complaint from guests, esp near pool). It is heavy to lift, and the bracket system drove installers crazy. Ended up using matching screws instead of brackets after a while. Also, started using the solid boards as the hollow boards are lighter but you need to buy the end caps seperately.

Brittle, heavy, hard to work

Excellent material.

These look fantastic but expand in the heat by over 1/2". Makes it impossible to install seamlessly. We can only install in the cool temperatures because the size is so off in warm temps. I have already started and disposed of the boxes or else I would have returned these. Not worth the $$.
