One of the best cooking pans I own. Ground the cooking surface smooth and reseasoned and now it is my exclusive egg frying pan. I probably should get another or two for meats and veggies. Definitely the most bang for the buck!

I do not clean it in the dishwasher, I clean it manually RUSTY !! Not GOOD

I bought this skillet to take camping, selected it for its price point and the smooth finish on the cooking surface. In the 30 days I have had it, I have probably used it 20 times on my stove at home. Bacon, eggs, burgers, steaks/chops, the usual. Though I am satisfied with the way it cooks -- I was surprised to see the black finish deteriorate in ordinary use. I have never used soap on it or put it in the dishwasher. I grease it with Crisco after each use, and heat it on the stove first to ensure totally dry. I have cleaned it primarily with just little hot water and paper towel; tho I have scrubbed stuck on patches with a 3M kitchen scrubber, and recently tried scrubbing with kosher salt and paper towel just to see how that worked. This past week I fried floured chicken thighs in it, and needed to poke aggressively with a fork and metal spatula to release them during cooking. Afterward, the cooking surface looked like this. I have plenty of teflon and silicone utensils, but I never imagined I needed to take special care with this skillet -- and I don't think they would be substantial enough to lift my stuck on fried chicken. So, I am not completely disappointed in this skillet -- it WORKS fine -- just makes me realize it's cast steel with an applied black finish. Not sure if this would be true of more expensive "cast iron." I think I will start shopping farm sales for old cast iron.

Two of the best features of this 10 inch cast iron frying pan are the well-defined pouring lips on each side of the pan (see pictures), and the second handle for lifting and tipping the pan. These are two features you do not find on every fry pan! The extra handle is also a nice feature in view of the weight of this pan – it is very substantial! The side pouring spouts are a good feature so you can drain off liquid from the pan easily. I highly recommend this 10 inch cast iron fry pan!

So far, so good. This skillet appears to be made well and will do a good job of making Blackened Red Fish on the grill

Ordered this item in the store with a wonderful sales associate named Jade….she made it so easy and quick!

I had to return it because after I used it once. The black paint was chipping

Truthfully, disappointed so far with the cast iron skillet. It's been seasoned as directed for 8 hours and after the first use, it was not only non-stick, but also extremely difficult to clean. I'm used to cast iron being very easy to clean but this did not match previous experiences.
