Bought a Highland Reverse Smoker because I missed the smoke taste you can’t get from a Traeger. Love this grill.

My reverse smoker is terrible! I lose smoke and can’t regulate the temperature. I have yet cooked any good meats on this smoker!

We have not set it up yet. We are building a pergola. This was an anniversary gift from my wife. The only thing is the box has a bunch or rips. But other then that we hope we will enjoy in the future.

Had one drop shipped about four years ago. It was a bit of a bear to put together, but it has held up well so far, no complaints other than I wish it had pneumatic tires.

Heavy duty construction, very solid. Holds heat well, but would recommend turning/shifting meat to insure even cooking. Some early rust spots on side car was disappointing.

Love my new smoker. Love the reverse flow. Keeps temperatures consistently. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an offset smoker. Installation was a breeze, but it took two people to attach the smoke box.

decent department store smoker. Needs several modifications to be a better smoker. These can he found with an internet search. The biggest issue is it leaks like a sieve. be prepared to buy gaskets and sealant.

Impressive quality and craftsmanship for this price point. With just a few modifications, these can become super reliable and very manageable.

I bought the Highland reverse flow smoker about a month ago and so far I love it, the only thing that has happened so far is that on the smoker box by the lid the paint has started to peel. I have not contact Ok. Joes yet about the paint I'm sure they would send me some high heat paint to take care of it. Great Smoker!!

Works great. Purchased the seal and extra thermometer and it holds steady. Took a little bit to get the fire management dialed in, after cooking on a Komodo for so long. Best advice is to rely mainly on hardwoods vs charcoal. You’ll go through a massive amount of lump charcoal if you try to run mainly on it. Seasoned wood goes much further.

Awesome Smoker. Was very easy to maintain a low temperature for smoking. It worked great as a charcoal griller as well. I'm kicking myself for not buying one sooner!

The temperature was consistent, it never got too hot, like my old smoker did. My brisket had a thicker smoke ring to it versus my old smoker. Having the smoke stay in longer, made the smoke ring thicker. Very little smoke loss, through the door, I might do the mods for it. Great smoker.

When it first arrived and I assembled it I found the lid was warped and would actually close fully, Ok Joe/Charbroil sent me a replacement body quickly. Then one first use I found out they don't use high temp paint on the fire box, paint starts peeling right off. Online research shows that's a common problem but a good brushing and some header paint will fix that. Cooking wise it handles like a dream, maintains a good temp through out

Fantastic smoker. Heavy weight and retains heat well. But do not buy it from Home Depot. Have to leave that feedback elsewhere

I got this a month ago and the first smoke was the best brisket I’ve ever made

I bought this grill and it’s it was a big mistake. I hate it. I’ll try to sell it or give it away. They probably won’t post this review.

I used this grill for the first time on 05/30. I cooked back ribs and they weren't very good. I'm sorry I bought this grill.. It's hard to maintain temperature and it eats charcoal like a steam engine. I'm going to stick to direct heat for grilling. I feel I get better results. The Judge Charcoal Grill would have been a better choice for me.

If you're expecting a top of the line offset smoker, then this isn't the one for you. You get what you pay for and at the price point of under $400, it was a great value. I added several modifications to mine right after assembly. Fully enjoying the reverse flow.

Holds temperature really well for hours with minimal interference.

Besides the box it came in being non existent and parts were missing, Oaklahoma Joes sent me what was missing super quickly and she smokes GREAT!
