I don’t believe that these fittings are really hot dipped galvanized, because I used an etching compound to clean and etch the fittings before painting, and all the shining galvanized coating came off , I believe that they were only painted with cold galvanized paint, not truly galvanized.

It is a simple one piece hunk of metal. But that's what I needed, that's what I got and I have to believe shipping cost more than I paid, but I appreciate the ability to buy one instead of aa whole bag that I don't need.

Ok, but...
The plate serves its purpose, but the threaded hole is not threaded at a right angle to the plate's mounting surface, which hangs the threaded rod (and mounted pipe) off at an angle.from the mount surface.
