Nighttime temperatures below 40 degrees F, or fluctuating day time temperatures, where temperatures are frequently dropping below 60 degrees F, will slow results. If weeds are taller than 6 inches, mow or cut down weeds and remove debris before treatment. This is because taller weeds are more difficult to kill and will prevent product from reaching the soil to provide the year long weed prevention.

Allow product to soak into the ground. During drought weeds will slow their growth down. If the weeds are drought stressed watering them the day before will typically prompt them to start growing which means they will take in the herbicide which will then kill them.
