Excellent! Have used this product on many occasion for rotted wood repair...non better!

Works well and dries very hard. I did several applications to build it up. Sometimes you need to use your gloved fingers to get the material where you need it.

This worked very well on the base of a wooden porch column that had significant rot. Once the PC Woody mixture cured, it was extremely hard. Be sure to smooth out the "paste" as much as possible to reduce on sanding the next day. Definitely recommend.

I used this kit when refinishing an old picnic table that was in the family for over 30 years. While sanding the top I found an area where the wood was splitting and soft. I did a lot of searching on You Tube to figure out what to do and how to fix it. I had put so much time and effort into this table and didn't want this to ruin the project. I typed in "fix rotten wood" and watched "This Old House" and others fixing window sills and front porch posts where water had damaged and rotted the wood. Then I typed in "rotten wood fix" or something on that order and this kit came up from Home Depot. It was perfect for what I was doing. I didn't want to buy quarts or gallons of anything because it was only a small area. Everything you need is in this kit and easy to follow instructions. I "repaired" the small area and you can't tell after painting. If I can do it, anyone can. I painted the table with the Behrs Weatherproofing solid stain in "white" for decks. It looks fantastic!!

I used this wood rot filler on the outside structure of a sunroof and at the bottom of a wood door frame. The wood hardener and the putty combination filled in the rotted wood area quite well. I am pleased with the results with using this complete kit keeping water from penetrating and rotting these areas further.

Unfortunately, the product does not work for my sink cabinet.

A little tricky to apply and took longer to harden than expected.

Easy to use and good value for the cost. I used it to repair/restore an outside door sill that had started rotting rather than replacing it. This was a much better option!

Honestly, the having to mix the two compounds together was too much work. I found something better and easier. The liquid to seal the rotten part of the wood worked beautifully, so I recommend that you buy it separately. The kit has too much stuff that you don’t need.

I TRIED TO "SALVAGE" THE WOOD 2 X 4 THAT WAS ROTTED ON MY ROOF, BUT AFTER ATTEMPTING TO COVER IT WITH THE HARDENER, THE WOOD JUST FELL APART AS IT WAS SO ROTTED THAT I HAD TO REPLACE THE BOARD. WASN'T ABLE TO FINISH THE PROCESS AND TRULY TEST THE KIT.

The product works as described. There were no gloves included, but I had some already. I found it easier to mix on a board larger than the one provided. It would have been fine for mixing a very small amount.

Made miracle with a rotted window.

Seems to fill nicely. Sandable. Good working time. Have to let it set overnight to harden. Have not tried applying a finish yet

The product works well as advertised. If you don't need to shape the PC Woody then I'd rate it 5 stars (for example, filling in a hole in a flat surface). The reason I gave it 4 stars is that it can be difficult to form it into more complex shapes (for example, where the brick molding meets the window sill and both parts need fixing). Overall it's a good product.

It really petrified the rotted wood, but the small jars of putty were not enough to fill the hole. Larger containers in the kit would be a better value.

Yes it worked great had some rotted wood boards on my deck didn’t want to replace them if I didn’t have to. I used the Rotted Wood Repair and it worked better than I expected. Was able to repair paint the deck afterwoods and it came out great.

It worked well. There were a fair amount of instructions for each piece that were in the box its not as simple as a 1,2,3 job well done, days work to get all done properly.

Easy to work with. Better solution than having to remove the rooted board and replace it.
