I used it as a back board for my barn door and us the left over piece as a coat rack

Good quality, but too expensive.

Poplar is a beautiful wood.

I was looking for wood to make legs for collection boxes. These boxes are used my our Lion's club to collect eyeglasses/cell phones/hearing aids/car or home keys. I will look at other woods to see if I can get a better value for attractive wood. This will take some time.

Was a little twisted and not that many to choose from.

The board is good quality, but the ends were a bit warped.

It is rare I don't have about the lumber I buy from Home Depot. I made arrows with this board and they warped badly. The rest of the unused board 6' 5", warped sideways, making it unusable for this project. I was disappointed. Can't blame anyone ... It was straight in the store.

The poplar boards were great. I’m only giving it 4 stars because we had boards that were not poplar mixed in. They were labeled poplar but were probably pine. I did not realize the difference until I tried to cut it.

I had to wait over ten minutes for someone to show up in the lumber department, but when he did my service was excellent. I needed a piece for trim for new built-in wall oven. He helped me find the wood I needed and cut a piece the exact length I needed to the 1/8 inch. When I got home, the piece fit perfectly!

Excellent piece of material

It was slightly twisted when I put against the wall. Could not get it totally flat when I screwed it to the wall.

Difficult finding straight pieces in the store

This was a very straight and solid poplar board. Smooth with no visible knots which is what i was looking for. Using for a coat rack wall. Definitely recommend
