Works good

Excellent value! Used a "built-in bookshelves" project as my excuse to purchase this new tool ... :-). I was able to finish in less than half the time it would have taken with the old trusty hammer, and no dents in the wood!!

The first one I purchased made a strange sound during loading close to 100 PSI. I called Porter Cable and they gave me a place to take it for repair. I only had it for one day and just started its first fill. I took it back to Home Deport and they exchanged it for a different one and plans were for them to send the other one back to PC. Home Depot is my favorite store for all my construction needs. I have well over 300 receipts in my email in-box. There has never been any problem bringing back any item for whatever reason. Most of the time was because I over bought too much and returned the extra. It sounds like I work for them but I always feel confident buying from HD. This replacement Porter Cable Compressor ran as expected. Light and easy to move from place to place. Happy with purchase.

Changing Cabin Filters where it's behind the Glove Box, No tool would ever clean the area completely, This compressor got everything out. Anyone trying to save a trip to the Mechanic, this Tool is Everything and then some.

I purchased this compressor last week. When I got it home and turned it on, I could feel lots of air coming out of the top at the right housing tab (see pic). I figured right off there was a leak. I called Porter Cable and told the rep about it and he said yes it sounds like a problem better return it. I returned it as "defective" and got another. I got the replacement home and decided to Google a search for the schematic and found out that the air I was feeling was (obviously) the pump fan (cooler). How was I to know this? Both of these units have another problem in my opinion. The vibration when running is so bad that the unit "walks" all around the floor. I think I am back to drawing board for a compressor. I did notice this unit is a new design from the other C2002 units. This cord wrap is on top with horizontal power switch as opposed to a display model the side cord wrap and vertical power switch. Maybe this was to be an "improvement"?

Great compressor! The carrying handle is very convenient and I didn't realize that it also had 2 quick connects to operate more than one tool at a time.

This is really a very versatile compressor. Small enough to store easily and carry to your job's location, but powerful enough to drive a framing nailer - we built a 20x14 deck with one. I keep finding new uses for it. Blowing off the driveway, airing tires and basketballs, using it with various air tools. I like mine so much, I gave one to my BIL for his birthday.

This is a well designed air compressor. It's compact and easy to carry. This compressor is ideal for use with nail guns. If you're looking for something to power your air tools then you're going to want to keep looking.

this is my second porter cable compressor. the first was nice, but this one has improvements in all the areas it needed. the carrying handle is more ergonomic than previous model. easy to carry around the house. another nice feature is the cord management system on the side. no more wrapping the power cord around various parts of the compressor. it is nice to have a dedicated "bracket" to wrap the power cord. also the two different quick couplers are nice!

I received the compressor but didnt come with the nailer. It was supposed to be a combo kit.?I returned this item. Poor quality control

I bought this only for the price and size. I am currently renting while we build our future home and shop. I have limited space but need a compressor so I settled. I am so impressed with the strength of the motor the quietness and power

Perfect for my purpose as a self proclaimed handyman. Just a little loud. Other than that it works great.

No it did not, It came with missing parts still to this day I can not use, eventually I was referred to porter cable, Home depot could not help me after many calls, I am now waiting on porter cable to help me . I might eventually get through this, Though due to the missing parts I still to this day have not plugged it in due to possible safety issues that may arise due to the missing parts.

Louder than I’d like and didn’t come with a hose.

I'm very happy with this pancake.. I have had it for a number of years. And granted it's not the most powerful compressor. But I have built decks with it, Inflated tires. Basketballs, infladed bouncy houses and still goes, it has served its purpose and have never had any issues with it. For the money that i paid, I'm glad I bought it.

This was a house warming gift for a friend. He was very pleased.

Porter-cable compressor. Lasts up until the expiry date then mine quit! DON'T TRY TO GET HELP FROM PORTER CABLE EITHER THEY HAVE A TON OF PROBLEMS WITH THERE EQUIPMENT, OR THEY DON'T GIVE A DAM... Already got there money... just like the song "Take the Money and Run !!! Home Depot has been great, I shop here often. Easy to shop both in store and on line!!!
