LOVE IT, CAME UP WITH NEW RECIPES TO USE MORE!
I did my research ahead of time on other reviews and whether to go with stainless steel or aluminum. My mother use to use a pressure cooker all the time for homemade baked beans and pot roast. I am very pleased with this. Even started making soup to rival with national Italian chain. Only negative is that it seems to take longer to reach pressure than my real old one.

At least this product made the food taste great, but...
I bought this after trying out the same Presto pressure cooker from a friend. Except hers was 20 yrs. old. It was clear to see how much more flimsy my new one was. It's been impossible to attach the bottom part of the handle. It keeps coming loose, and if I tighten the screw any more, it will strip. Thus, it was hard to get the handles to line up. I will try using it a couple more times, but I'm afraid I will have to return it.

Money well spent
We have owned 2 aluminum Presto pressure cookers in the past and used them a lot. We just like the stainless better because we feel its cleaner than aluminum and easier to clean. Prettier also. It works great and I recommend it with a five star plus rating. Try one you will like it.

What can I say? It's a pressure cooker, for God's sake!
There's an acquired knack to cooking with a pressure cooker. I do not yet have that knack. The type of meal that comes from a pressure cooker isn't necessarily in vogue these days, but I'm seeking comfort food from my youth. In retrospect, I think I should have bought the larger 8 qt model.

Met My Needs
I needed a new pressure cooker and after looking at various reviews of the products available, I stayed with Presto (I had one for many years but gave it away a few years ago thinking I no longer needed one) and was not disappointed. It did just what I needed - cooking up chicken in a short amount of time for soup.

This is a good pressure cooker!
I wanted to try some pinto beans in this pressure cooker right away, because it takes so long on a regular stove. They came out great, and I followed the instructions that came from the book that came with this pressure cooker. Then I made a stew and the turkey breast was a bit chewy, and so I put it in the pressure cooker for 6 minutes. The meat was less chewy and the stew had a more blended flavor. I love this pressure cooker and can't wait to try more things. This pressure cooker will work for a family of 2-4.

Works great
Pressure cookers are quick & cook quite well. This one is stainless, the only type I would buy. The price was also very good. Shipping was quicker than I expected. Best part, my wife loves it.

A wonderful appliance; so fast and easy to use. Had another Presto cooker that was used for 54 years!
Like the way it works, brings the pressure up quickly. Also cools down fast.

Great Product
This Pressure cooker is a really nice quality item. I have used this cooker to make a pot of irish stew and couple pots of bean soup so far. It took eighteen minutes for the Irish stew and twenty minutes for the bean soup. These dishes usually take a couple hours to prepare properly. The veggies and the meat come out so tender and so delicious. I would recomend this item to anyone who wants to save time and conserve on energy since it only take minutes instead of hours to prepare a dish.

No Pressure Here, It's an Awesome Cooker!!
I highly recommend this pressure cooker if you're looking for quick, quiet cooking. Very roomy and nice looking. I've not been disappointed with anything I've made in it and so far that list includes: roast, chicken, beans, and veggies. It's a great deal for the money.
