A must have when laying large format tile!

Awesome product to keep your tiles level especially large format tile’s

A few tips on using the LASH system. I used the system to install 12”x24” porcelain floor tiles. Make sure the thinset is on the wetter side of the equation. The roughly 4:1 ratio recommended on most thinset is way too thick. Buy the QEP tightening tool — this will make the job much easier and it can torque the tiles together more than just using hand strength. Pushing down on the tiles as you tighten will help the process too. Again, if the thinset is too dry, you will not be able to even up the tiles. I learned this the hard way. If the thinset thickens up too much after an hour or so—throw it out and make a new batch. If you cannot complete the entire installation in one session, you can place the clips under the tiles to be ready for the next day. I had zero clips break as I was installing.

First time using the this system and I’m not a big fan. I had problems getting the gaps constant and the clips have to much flex in my option. I can do better just eyeing it up.

As a novice to tile laying, I struggled to get an even, level finish on my large area tile. This time I learned about the QEP tile leveling system and it made a huge difference. They acted as spacers besides keeping my tile perfectly level. They don't work if the floor is unlevel but in my case I had a pretty even surface to start with. Just bought again for a bathroom we're remodeling.

Bought 2 boxes needless to say I had a large tile job. Used it on 6x36 tile placement is important to keep tile tight to floor cement on large tile that have a slightly higher in middle. Would buy the tool to tighten clips. Overall is well so far so I guess the product did it job.

Excellent and easy to use. Helps insure the 2 tiles are at the same level every time. Make sure you purchase the wrench with the clips to get the wedge tight.

Great way to lign and level up your tile. I I'm doing my entire house and wouldnt do it any other way. Only com is I wish they sold a bigger bag at a resonable price. So far ive spent about $180 on what I think will cover my 2500 sqft job. I still my need a bit more, but it does make to job a lot easier, just make sure u budget in for these with your materials.

Totally recommend these for newbies and pros! We are tiling for our first time about 400 or so sq. feet. We are using 6x24 inch large format porcelian tile and these curved levelers have been a life saver. I was a bit leary about some of the bad reviews, but these are easy to use. Watch the videos provided by Home Depot or the ones on the manufacture's website. Our floor is older concrete and not perfectly level, and these are leveling the floors perfectly. We have checked every now and then with a 4 ft. level and no issues whatsoever. Very few of them are defective. You need to place them in as directed. Do not walk on them until set, and they break off exactly the same spot every time right below the surface of the tile. Note: these are designed with a thin set designed for larger format tiles and 1/2 inch notched trowel. We also backbuttered our tile too to ensure full coverage.

Best leveling system available.

I would recommend only if you have an absolutely flat surface you are installing the tile on. If you have an uneven floor like I did, these will make it impossible to install tile. I had to remove all of the pieces that I had the system on. Totally set me back 2 days.

Highly recommended for installing tile on walls. The clips lift tiles out of the thinset while the wedges secure them and/or force a tile deeper into the thinset so that adjacent tiles are perfectly level. I used them together with 1/4” spacers. I purchased the pliers but will be returning them as they were not needed. If wearing gloves you must be careful to not snag fingertips of the gloves into the locking wedge. Wedges are reusable so purchase lots of clips and less wedges

The concept is brilliant, but its execution poor. There is no QA/QC with this product. As another reviewer states, the spacers break off prematurely as you are inserting the wedge. Also, out of a 300 count bag, I had at least 50 "duds". These either had flashing, where too much plastic was injected during the molding process and the plastic bled out the side, making them useless, or they were missing one half of the 'tee'. Other duds were way too thin and they broke off in my hand. I'll be looking for a partial refund from QEP and another manufacturer for future projects

It takes some time to get used to them as you have to be careful as the spring effect of the curved clip tends to push tiles apart. But in the end these clips work well for floors!

Very hard to work with. Hard to get under a set tile. Made things move around. Preffer the flat ones.

I like the old flat pnes better, I don't like the curved. The curve actually popped a small tile up off of the mortar.

Awesome, great job of leveling and easy to use. Easy to kick and remove when dry. Though the curved one are getting harder to find in Home Depot. Home Depot please don't stop stocking this item!

100 packets is good. 300 packets are very bad
