I bought this today. First time I bought a Rigid saw and was expecting a good quality product. It didn't appear to be making square cuts, but I assumed it was me. Then I noticed the blade had a 1/4" wobble as it started and stopped. The cut in the orange plastic base plate was a lot wider than the blade and 1/4" wide toward the user. This is going back tomorrow and I'm getting the Dewalt. Life is too short to screw around with crappy tools.

The old saying that I'm too poor to afford cheap tools. I got what I thought was a decent saw, but in less than 24 hours the part of this product that measures degrees is a sticker and was coming off. i went back to the store to find the floor model is doing the same thing.

I used to have the 10 inch version of this model and loved it. I figured the upgraded version would be even better. Unfortunately, I never got to use this one. After unpacking, I couldn't unscrew the guard rail screws, because they are too tight and obviously one is now stripped. After about an hour of deciding what to do with my new miter saw, I noticed it is now leaking a lot of oil from the motor. This oil is now all over the base and motor casing. I don't think this is normal. That said, will be returning tomorrow.

Easy to assemble, decent weight for the size. Remember to tighten the blade with a wrench! Not a huge fan of the right side miter, but definitely not a deal breaker! Best bang for my bucks in a while. Using product to build my own work table for it. Highly recommended

This is a great saw. The RIGID 15 AMP dual bevel miter saw cuts 2+8 rough cut with a breeze. Making building my 18 ft octagon gazebo a breeze and fulfilling

not too impressed with the throat plate damaging after only my second cut tryed getting in contact with Ridgid to get a new throat plate good luck if they ever decide to respond, other then that very sound maychine I like that I have access to the motor brushers

The price of it and the quantity of ridgid.

Fence is out of alignment, enough that it cant be depended on for straight cuts. I called Ridgid. They wanted to charge me for new fence. What good is a mitre saw that cant be alligned properly and depended on for straight cuts? Junk

Set-up was simple, saw performed excellent as expected. Good price. Have had saw for a month, and used it immediately for a pending home project.

Similar to one we had but a bit larger but very good!

Love it no complaints

Good overall. Hard to set up. Screws in fence so tight almost stripped them trying to loosen. This saw is on par with others.

Motor either noisy or sloppy. Looked like it was used and re-boxed. .

Cuts 13.5x3/4 straight and true. Set up was nothing to it. Out of the box and rite to work.

Great value. The saw seems to be just as good as a Dewalt or Makita and a little less expensive. The stand is a great addition -- sturdy, very adjustable lumber supports and compact.

The stand is a game changer! Setup was easy to follow and the stock blade cuts like butter!
