1st one lasted almost a month then just stopped shooting so I brought back an got another one.this one isn't a week old it's just nothing but a headache Gonna try a 3rd one only because ridgid is all I use but right now definitely not happy with the 2 I have gotten

This nail gun was supposed to have a lifetime warranty if you registered it. So I did register it. It stopped sinking nails after a while. I took it back to home depot where I purchased it and was told I had to contact rigid. They said home depot was not responsible. I did contact rigid after being on hold for 1 hour, I was told to contact a small engine repair shop an hour away. The nail gun has now been at that shop for 4 weeks. When I call to check on it, I get a message that the mailbox is full.

This thig is HUGE, over 5" wide at the top, there is no way that you could install standard width baseboard with anything near a straight shot nail - parallel to floor. And heavy, other brands are much narrower. CHECK Specs, and compare

I was super excited to get this a few years ago. I do finish carpentry and thought this would be great for those occasional small jobs that would take longer to roll out and put away a compressor and hose than to nail it off. I was wrong! Even at max setting this thing has trouble driving 1¼ brads into a piece of oak shoe. I mean, what the heck is this for if you can't put down a piece of shoe? It spent weeks in the service center only to be told it works. LOL yeah it shoots but it doesn't set nail even close to flush.

The tool is great but the bag that comes with it is el-cheapo maximus. super flimsy and offers zero protection/ So if you drop it, it's going down hard and the contents are probably going to sustain some damage.

Great tool for quick work, powerful, easy to use.

Love this gun. I am a convert from another company that starts with a D. Was heavy with them but had battery warranty issues and swapped to Ridgid. They have exceeded my expectations with every tool I have purchased. I no longer have any D brand and have fully swapped to Ridgid.

Bulky and heavy, hard to get in tight spaces and under cabinets for toe kick

Works as it should! I got this tool to install pallet wood on the walls in our cabin, so far so good.

I used to nail down red oak Hardwood Floors in it doesn't sink the nail all the way down... Soft material works good..

I really wanted to like this. I found no issues with other Rigid nailers, but the hyper drive finish nailer appears to be a let down. At first I was under the assumption misfires happened during due to me lifting the gun too soon, after some trial and error it simply appears that the gun doesn't set all nails reliably. Misfires are getting more frequent the longer I've had this nailer, but happened since day one. Aside this the depth adjustment and nail rate of the gun work mostly as intended.

So far so good! Works as advertised! Nice to not have to drag an air hose line around or mess with the compressor.

I got this trim gun about 6 months ago I do a lot of trimming and this gun works great , little big and heavy but gets in most places ..leaves no marks on the trim ,very clean drivin nail. I’ve used dewalts and Milwaukees nail guns and they always leave marks from the Tip of the gun ..one of the best battery trim guns I’ve used

Couldn’t be happier! No issues. Works as intended. Couldn’t believe how many shots you can get with a full 4.0 battery.

Just the ticket for our new tongue and groove ceiling. So much faster and easier on my body than a hammer and nail set. Love not dragging an air hose around too. Another excellent Ridgid 18V tool for my collection.
