Nice to have a longer replacement hose. The only thing was, I didn’t get the older style end fitting to go into my shop vac with my replacement hose. I contacted them and they sent me the end fitting.

Excellent build quality. I am using this hose with an older RIDGID vac and a dustopper from Home Depot. Fittings are exactly what was needed to connect vac to dustopper and dustopper to equipment.

dusting brush bad; other tools great
i have the standard 2 1/2" hose wand utility wet car nozzles crevice tool floor & round brushes & have to say everything except the dusting brush is great. the dusting brush bristles are too stiff for delicate surfaces; & the brush body is hard plastic

Make sure to check your box contents before buying. When I got home I quickly noticed that the hose end coupler with the orange latch that allows you to connect this hose to another hose was missing from the box. Now I have to go back to Home Depot and explain to them that this end piece was missing from the box. Some one had opened the box and replaced the missing coupler with a 2 1/2 inch to 1 7/8 inch adapter. They only had two boxes on the shelve and both were opened. Since I'm in a wheelchair I had a store employee check to make sure all the pieces were in the box, and since there were 3 connectors and a hose he assured me "Yup, the picture on the box shows 3 end pieces and a hose". Not really a Ridgid problem but a Home Depot problem.

I'm using this hose on my 15yo 12 gallon Rigid...
I'm using this hose on my 15yo 12 gallon Rigid Wet Dry Vac. This hose is not as adapable for older models as the packaging implied but doable. Also, unable to take advantage of the Tug-A-Long locking feature. Hose looks strong & should last for another 15 years. Good ext for existing hose.

The only problem is, that the internet advertised price was 29.97. However, when I went to purchase the hose the price was 32.97. I called customer service and they fixed the problem. I would have preferred not to have had to call customer service, but in the end I got what I was looking for and sooner than I was expecting.

I was looking for a hose to connect to my ~1990's era craftsman shop vac to my miter saw. My shop vac is all compression fittings -- it's before the clips. This worked fine. I used 2" electrical conduit clamps (which are just _slightly_ too small, but good enough) to route it across the ceiling. Having multiple "permanent" hoses installed in the shop makes it much easier to keep the shop air clean and the project done.

Excellent size and power
I bought this model to replace my older wet/dry vac. Very happy with 10 gallon size. Does everything I need. I also love that this model was has greater CFM capacity over my older vac. Having larger volume CFM really helps with sanding projects and capturing more suspended dust particles. Price was very fair.

The hose is probably fine, but it doesn't fit onto my shop vac. I ordered the 2" before, but the attachments would not fit. I can't seem to find a hose to fit both the shop vac and the attachments. Very frustrating. Rigid please help. My vac model is WD12450.

So close to perfect, but it's terrible!
I got a backpack Vacuum. It's light and so much powerful, but it's going back to store because there are no attachments which works on rugs and wand ripping your hands when you trying push it "carpet head attachment". And it 1 3/4 head so you really can't find brushed replacement. So bottom line, almost awesome product that is absolutely terrible and useless.
