No complaints from me. It’s big and heavy but I was able to purchase, transport, and operate it solo. Make sure you have at least 3 hours set aside for use if it’s your first time. READ THE MANUAL COMPLETELY. It’s not one of those things where you can skip that. Take your time and feed it slowly, so that you can react if you start to get a twist/kink. It’s physically demanding and I was definitely sweaty afterward.

Did a great job easy to use.

Easy to use works great, easy to manage. Only one problem, wheels are to small, hits bottom of machine, but other then that , works great.

Overall very easy to set up and use, works flawlessly so far I’m very happy with my purchase.

Machine works really well. Used it for 4 days straight; destroyed the gloves that come with it, but motor still going strong! Pay attention to accessory heads that come with it. Does not come with a drop down head which is essential for getting around in elbows of older pipes. Could not get the cutter head to get around my cast iron 90 deg turns.

This machine did what I wanted but although it says to register the product you don't have to. It took me many hours on the computer and phone to get that information. Even when I called the HD store I didn't get information that could help. Without being able to register how can I be contacted if there's a recall. I will not purchase another RIDGET product in the future.

Clear instructions to set up and operate. Was able to clean a blockage I couldn’t access with small hand auger. Tool cut through blockage and using different attachments I was able to remove the obstruction. Cost was difficult to swallow but justified, like others, that cleaning one or two more of these would pay for the cost. Comforting to have and not relying on a company to come when they can as water flows everywhere.

Easy to assemble and easy to use, very effective

I needed 70 feet to reach my clog. I am so happy I got the 75 footer. Worked great right out of the box. Saved about a thousand dollars by not calling a plumber. Very easy to use. And I now have another great tool if I need it in the future.

The drain cleaner worked great! It cut right through roots that were blocking the line to a septic tank. The only difficulty you will have it finding cutting heads in stock. If you break one or need to find a specific cutter, it will take a bit to get them in your hand. Overall, I am very impressed and happy with the purchase. This thing has already paid for itself by saving me two separate emergency calls for a plumber.

great machine, cleared all our clogs

Purchased to use on job sites and the one of the heads snapped off inside pipe! Had to fish it out from my customers drain!! I wish I could say it was user error but prior to this one I had another one (different brand for about 7 years) and the motor burned out but this never happened so I know it wasn’t operators error. So after lots of time wasted and aggravated day and upset customer I ended up returning it to store ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLEASE!

Came already assembled. Had to install the wheels and tighten the belt ( tension spring). Worked fantastic

Master bath sinks and kitchen sinks back up about once a year each. I live out in the country and it costs about $350 to get someone out to snake the latest backup. Drain machine went together easily and worked as described. I won't say I enjoy getting under the sink with it - but sure beats waiting a day or two and paying $350. Will pay for itself with one more backup. Would get 5 stars if it just unclogged drains without crawling around under sink and manually feeding the snake.

Use this on a old house that has root and clogging problems. So far it has done a great job.. my old boy after 30 years finally gave out. So hopefully this one will last as long..

I bought this in an emergency situation; blocked sewer line. Turns out that the pvc pipe had been separated by tree roots and were several inches apart, so there was no way even a heavy duty drain auger was worthless. However, under normal circumstances, tis Rigid K-400 seems to be quite adequate, though the attachments are a bit small for a 4” pipe.
