Fixed my stopped up drain. It was fine winding down it into the drain. The only problem was winding it back up out of the drain. Make sure you wear gloves, because you will have to pull it out the drain and push it back into the casing with your hand while winding it back in.

Bought it to unclog a kitchen sink. Best way I found to use is to hand feed it until it stops or gets stuck and then lock the snake and then crank hard a few rotations. This will either bore through what's clogging or it will get it past a corner where it may be getting stuck. Again hand feed as much as possible, lock the snake and then crank hard several times. I had to do this 2-3 times before it unclogged. I unclogged my drain that had an orange peel stuck in it about 6' ....would recommend this tool for any homeowner.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. This is a complete piece of junk. I've used snakes for 20 years. Got this one today for a small apartment with just two drains. The "switch" didn't really switch. No idea how the red button was supposed to be used. Pushed and pushed and it shifted but the "trigger" handle never moved in any direction. It snaked out twice. I tried to retract the second time it wouldn't. So, I had to pull it out of the drain manually. I was left with 25 feet of cable covered in gunk. Wrapped the cable around the super dooper trigger handle and took it back to the store. Do not buy this piece of junk.

Worked well enough. Just a complete pain in the butt to roll back in.

1) I would only recommend it with the reservation that it does not torque strongly and becomes stuck easily at an elbow pipe bend or obstruction. I was able to take one of my hands and grab and push the snake into the pipe further; however this means I could no longer turn the crank at the same time. I prefer the larger wire cage style snakes, which are much more effective. 2) The device is not easily operated in that it is akward to hold with the one hand and turn with the other hand.

Hard to feed but it did clear the clog.

hard to use. only for light clog only. otherwise will do nothing, just have the cable spin out alot. very hard to hold the trigger and spin. need big hands

Did it's job!

This thing is amazing! I used Drano and countless other products to remove this stubborn clog I had in my bathroom sink. In 10 minutes, I was able to clear the clog and the sink drains perfectly now! Highly recommend!

The snake wire was bent when I tried first time to unclogged our bathtub. It was so hard to grab and spin same time. I wish I could get a full refund. So disappointed...

I had a block about 12 ft down my laundry outflow pipe. Should have bought something stronger, maybe with a power tool attachment. This one just wound itself up in the pipe. Also, the red lock pin doesn't stay in place and releases.

This tool did the trick but was awkward to operate.

Very difficult to use...

Instructions were not great. But FYI hand feed until you can’t anymore then twist crank, then hand feed, repeat. Keep tool as close to pipe as possible or it will get twisted up outside of pipe Other than that worked excellent

It worked a little bit better than expected. The auto feed, retract and flexible line worked great. I didn't mind the manual handle but wist it had a drill attachment to make it faster. I bought the other brand that they sell but this one worked best for what I needed.

Worked. A few points: 1) instructions are terrible. 2) have to be patient to use it’s full length —takes a long time to hand crank it out and to rewind it. 3) when most of the cable is in the pipe, it’s hard to get the last 5-10’ to snake because I think the power that you can apply to the cable is

Works well, solidly built. Easy to feed and retract. Has enough reach to get the job done for me.

It had to much resistance

Seems well made, notnsurebitnwould last for a professional or someone who uses them daily, but for a homeowner who has a clogged drain it’s fine.
