Bought a wool rug but it was shredding & looked diseased this rake is slowly removing the excess & I whirl not have to hide it under the table

I've used it one time so far. Using the rake with gentle pressure worked very well on my artificial pet turf to gather leaves and other small debris.

it's just what i ordered.

I was hesitant to purchase due to low reviews on this - but this thing is amazing!!! We were selling our house and I was tired of lugging my vacuum up and down the stairs to make the carpet look nice for showings. Enter this little guy - instantly looks like the carpet has been vacuumed! I told my sister she needs one for sure. I also told our realtor to tell all his clients to get one to make their carpets look nice when selling!

I love this tool! I have dogs & use this on low pile carpet very lightly & it does the trick! I've even used it after vacuum to see hair residue left behind was quite significant. I found that long light strokes will work better with the rake. I don't push on it, actually I just drag it around room & let it do its own thing and that is the most effective, thorough way to clean..Pushing too hard would damage/break rake but for the price you can't beat it! I've used it every 4 days or so now & have thrown mounds of hair away that vacuums leave behind..I also like to use it before & after carpet shampooings..I'm happy with this purchase and hope Home Depot puts these out on store shelves..they would be a hit with pet owner's

Very satisfied with the product would have been nice if the handle was a bit more on the stronger.

The lockers at Home Depot were new to me, very cool. The carpet rake is effective.

It takes my carpet on my steps but I wish the rake was more durable. Some of the rake teeth have already bent.

Does what it says it does. No Complaints

I just returned this for doing exactly what the negative reviews said it would do. When I read those, I thought, "Those people probably didn't read the instructions carefully." It did not come with instructions beyond "Use a push-pull motion." That's it. And after about two minutes of push-pull, the thing fell apart, scattering bristles all over the place. All 66 of them. I counted. It was just not designed to handle the stress of the most basic use. I then spent a couple of hours trying reassemble it, since nothing appeared to actually be broken, before I decided I would need at least 70 tiny hands to get all those bristles lined up just so in their individual grooves. So, PLEASE, AVOID THIS GARBAGE LIKE THE PLAGUE. Why does Home Depot even sell this? Where's the quality control?

It takes a few strokes to get the job done, but it works alright to pull hair away from edges.

This works great for my carpet, especially getting dog hair out of my wool rug. Definitely recommend this item.

The rake is just the right size to use on the stair carpet. I would like a wider, firmer rake for large areas. So, this fits the job for which I was needing help.

It took several attempts to restore the carpet nap to a satisfactory level, but after about four rakes the nap is in good condition.
