I just received the 24 PC router bit set. Items in the set were blistering and rusting.

We are building an entire homestead “off grid” and we are using almost every (cordless) product that ryobi makes! I think we have over 90% of what makes (even other products that are not cordless like the router bit kits, we have those for the cordless router). We love ALL of our Ryobi products, and all of tools and supplies come from the Homedepot to make our dreams and goals a reality!! Thank you Ryobi and the Homedepot!!

For those interested in country of origin, this product was made in CHINA. Looking to begin some woodworking as a hobby and need to address the high cost of purchasing bits individually. This 24 bit set addresses the concern. Have found other bits to be dull at onset. These were extremely sharp and stayed sharp while I tried t he tool. 24bit set but with descriptions for on 16 is the worst thing I can say about the set.

I always hesitated to buy individual expensive router bits because I was never sure what I might need for any project and I didn't have a specific project in mind when I picked up a low cost router long ago. Luckily when I started thinking up specific projects and looking for bits I found this 24 bit collection from Ryobi that has every typical bit type I think I might need for beginning projects. I already started practicing with a half-blind dovetail joint jig to try making drawers for some kitchen cabinets. I'll use roundover bits to smooth the top edges of the drawers. I will need to make some pantry type doors with additional edge shapes and I want to try converting folding doors to French doors so the Mortising bit or straight bit may help with hinges. This set is opening a whole new world of routing projects for me. I'm really glad I found these.

I use router bits regularly in my job as a school industrial tech teacher and see how quickly bits can go bad. I have tried high quality bits and the bargain bin. The balance of quality materials that will last with not having a huge cost is a tough line, but I feel like these Ryobi router bits do a good job of it. Because of this, I decided to pick up this 24-piece set for my home use and as expected am happy with them at this point. From the use at school, I know these will have a generally good use life and will cut quality edges without burning for a good amount of time. This set comes with a good variety for most projects at home and help with the need to buy a bunch of different bits for different use cases. I am happy with the initial install and cut on my router table set up and these should last a good long time.

Buying router bits can be confusing. There are so many different brands and types available how do you decide? This set from RYOBI is a good start. If you are new to using a router and are experimenting with different types of decorative trim, or edging on your projects, Ryobi offers a nice variety of bits in this 24-piece set. I quickly tried a couple of bits after getting this set to see how the bits would work with pine and hard maple scraps I had laying around. The bits are sharp out of the case and did a great job of cutting and leaving a smooth edge. With any router bit, take your time, make several passes, and move your router in the proper direction to get smooth cuts and you won’t have any problems with the bits in this set. I think for the DIY home owner/wood worker this is a nice starter set of bits. It is more cost effective to buy router bits in sets when compared to one bit at a time. I don’t know how long the Carbide tips will stay sharp; these are my first RYOBI router bits. I am impressed with how strong the RYOBI plastic storage case is. My set wasn’t shipped in a box, it had a shipping label attached to the clear plastic front and was delivered unbroken, uncracked with just a little dirt residue and a few scuffs!

The RYOBI 24-Piece Router Bit Set is great for DIY use and comes in a nice storage box. It includes a good assortment of 1/4" shank carbide bits. There are suitable for use in most routers and I'm planning using these in my trim routers because they are lighter and easier to handle than full-sized routers. This router bit set has most of the most used bits that the average DIY person would want and the storage case keeps them organized and secure. These bits have carbide cutting teeth so they will last many times longer than standard steel bits. I think that this set is a very good value for the money and I like it.

RYOBI 24-Piece Router Bit Set. Seems like a great set, for beginners like myself or a professional furniture maker! It features 1/4 inch shank that will fit all corded and cordless routers, very sharp Carbide tipped for a longer cutting life and ultra-fine finish. The storage case is well designed to hold all the bits securely in the case, top has two slide locks to keep the lid closed tight! The back has an index of all the bits.

The RYOBI 24-Piece Router Bit Set contains almost any router bit that you are likely to need. Highly recommended for new router users. What I did was buy my few router bits one at a time when I needed one. Doing that makes the cost much more expensive than this set even if you never use many of the bits in this set. What attracted me to this set is that it has 4 bits for rounding edges. I had never had such a bit because they seemed too expensive when I could just use a file. Using one of these bits gives a much better edge. Having such a variety of bits will encourage me to try more fancy options in the future. These bits are as sharp as any that I have purchased previously. The case is superbly designed for viewing, carrying, and for organizing. Its two latches tightly secure the contents when closed but yet are easy to open. The back of the case has a legend telling what each type of bit is used for. Since these bits are considered consumables, there is not an explicit warranty. They are made in China.

This is a great set. Not just a starter set, but a well rounded variety of bits for all types of jobs in the shop, and I have some real favorites in the pack. What really surprised me was the variety of four Roundover bits. This way, you can put a neat trim on anything from a shelf edge to a work bench edge, to create a smooth finish and prevent any splinters, if bare wood. The rabbiting bit is another fave, that will work great when building shelves for the family. The quarter inch shaft is standard on two of my routers, so they fit perfectly, and with carbide tips, should last for a long time. A great set for trimming, edging, and joining.

it's a decent set with a fair verity. However on of the bearings was broken right out of the box. it's a good thing I inspected the bit before using it on my oak project.

The set had all the bits I was needing. Used about 6 of them very first day making new hatches for my boat.

This is a nice case with all the router bits I use most included in a single case. I use a trim router so the 1/4 inch arbor is perfect. The bits seem to keep a sharp edge as long as you don't hit a nail in the lumber you are routering. I would recommend this kit for all finish carpenters and anyone else doing furniture or cabinetry work.

I am using these ryobi bits with a ridgid r2401 laminate router. I have not had problems, bits work and performed beautifully. Take your time and be safe.

I needed a flush cut bit for me new counter to so bought this set as it had 2 sizes and this set was cheaper than buying them individually. These work great with my new palm router by ryobi. Both did great job on my island.

This router bit set along with the cordless palm router are my first tools venturing into routing woodwork. So far, I have used both tools and have let me do some amateur Projects as gifts for some people. No issues with the router bit set, it seems to do what they are intended for.

These bits are fantastic. I was hesitant at first, especially after reading all the reviews about people snapping bits, but I have found that as long as I am not forcing the router through the wood, and I let the bits do the cutting (not the elbow grease), these bits should last me a long time. I have many different bits in addition to these, some of which are almost $100 a piece, but these are the go to bits I use for almost everything. The case is compact, durable, and easy to throw in a bag for wherever I am using my router. I have a Ridgid cordless router as well, and I keep the adjustment wrench tucked inside this case so that when I need to change a bit, the wrench is right there. Very convenient. Great price for a great assortment of router bits. Keep them clean, and take multiple passes through your workpiece, and they should last you a very long time.

I bought this kit mainly for the Roman Ogee and Round Over bits. These are the only two I have used so far but have used them a lot. They are still sharp after using them on Pine, Maple, and Red Oak. I will likely upgrade to the Diablo bits over time because they will last longer. But for an entry level kit this has been wonderful to work with. I've used these in a router table and my palm router and have used them to make drawers, cabinet doors, and round over a queen bed and coffee table.

I use these bits as much as i use the toilet. they are sharp, & cut through soft aswell as hardwood beautifully. i read some of the other reviews on this product & see that they're snapping bits. if your making dado cuts with the router, go 4 passes per quarter inch, take off a 16th of an inch at a time. if your looking for fast dado's, open your wallet & buy a dado stack for your tablesaw, if not, take your time & do it the right way & these bits will do exactly what they are designed to do without any problems.

Ok so idk how these actually work because home depot cant seem to get your order to you all at once and im so sick of it that this will probably be my last order from home depot im sick of wasting my time waiting on things to get here each single individual item…. So im displeased to say that if they cant get it together im done shopping there😤

This combination is perfect for the beginner wood worker I am. The set includes all the basic bits and some more advanced. It is all I should ever need at a sale price I couldn't pass up.
