I really enjoy the fan! It s a great product with a VERY nice amount of air flow. The fact that it is a hybrid tools - even better. Is well made with metal and plastic construction. Fairly lightweight and easy to transport. Looking forward to putting it to good use!

Finally, a fan that is large enough to actually cool you down, but still portable to take anywhere you need it to be. This fan is just awesome. I jump from the garage, to the shop, to the yard to the inside of the house, but need to have a dedicated fan in each area because I am tired of dragging a cord around and plugging them in all the time. What great about this is it runs on a cord, or an 18V Ryobi battery. I use my 6Ah 18v battery on with this fan, and it give me around 2 - 1/2 hours of run time on high, which is amazing to me. Its also really powerful, and has 4 settings (Off, low, med, high). It's super quiet on all setting, and has a large knob with numbering on the back to make it easy to adjust. Another great thing about this fan is that it's super light, and can even be hung if you want to place it up higher. It even has a very wide range of swivel, so you can basically put it anywhere you want. This fan is just plain awesome, and I love that Ryobi gives you the hybrid option. You can literally take this anywhere, and that's a hug plus for me. Well done on this one!

Fans should just have adapter for 120 olt plug. What good isthis plug when you need extension cord.

Fans are very versatile to use battery powered or house current

Stopped working within 3 months...completely dead. Won't turn on. Other than that if looking for something temporary it's good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fan a couple of years ago and have used it every where. Footballs games to help cool the players, all day football camps, family BBQs.

Worked well when new, but is now dead after 11 months. Will not work on battery or A/C power. Warranty replacement looks like a huge hassle if your not near a service center. I have regrets buying this product.

Simple to use, and effective in clearing the air. Will buy another one.

Works fine just doesn't blow enough air for the price.

Purchased the 18" fan and it worked fine for 2 months. it does not work when a fully charged 18v battery is inserted. We know the batteries are good, as we have other RYOBI tools that work when we use these same batteries (we have 3 batteries) the fan can work when plugged in, but we purchased to use on battery for remote location. We have called RYOBI, but verrrrrry long hold times. It should be replaced under warranty.

Bought fan Aug 22, 2022. Fan was great until it died May 2023. I had high hopes but am extremely disappointed. I even purchased additional batteries for this specific product. Having a hard time reaching anyone about a replacement.

Great fan. I use it all the time. It will go through some batteries in prolonged use.

Incredibly weak motor. It’s more of an air squirt gun Vs an air cannon

I purchased this fan because I live in Louisiana and the power goes out for days and days . I purchased a couple of these fans with a few batteries so that we will be prepared when the lights go out ( and they will). So far, I am happy with the purchase and I am thinking of buying more. In a small area, the fan puts out a lot of wind on high.

We used this fan for about 2 years, and it quit working. You would think it would work longer when it's been taken care of and neither battery nor direct plug-in works anymore. It just up and quit out of know where which was pretty disappointing. It was a nice way to move the air in our garage when we had people over.

18 inches is a good size for those garage spaces, sheds, and under the event tents. You are able to control power easily with the knob. Connect it via power cord or the 18v Ryobi batteries. Can't get any simpler or convenient to use.

I thought it would be more powerful. I was looking for an air mover for my soaked basement and this was the recommendation. I would have not bought this for that use if I knew how it would perform. Overall I think it would make for a good fan in situations where there is dust or fumes.

While Ryobi gets a lot of DIY thing right, I cannot recommend this product. I've had 2 units failed in 18 months. It's a good concept, but component choices limit the customer experience.

It was a dark and stormy night. Terrible thunderstorms passed throughout our city and left most of us without electricity! Everyone laughed at me for stocking up on 18V batteries but on that night I was VINDICATED! My stockpile of charged and ready to go batteries saved us from having to get a hotel room for the night! Each family member had a fan and more than enough 18 volt power to make it through the night. Thank you Ryobi for the relief from this humid, Texas air!
