Push to connect Fittings are great

works good to connect your 2" hose for drip to your faucet.

Completely impossible to attach, even after putting it in hot water and warming it up… impossible. It’s a sick joke.

So happy this product exists. Had a 1/2" irrigation tubing buried under 3 tree planter beds and instead of trying to punch a hole through or under my planter (which would include digging up all the soil and killing my plants) I just found where the tubing leads into the planter and attached my 3/4" pvc pipe to it using this. This saved me from having to work too hard.

There is in the trash. Useless.

These were difficult to insert the pipe into. Make sure to use dish soap or other lubricant or you will fight them.

Pipe thread end is so brittle it cracks when hand tightened. I also broke one off at the FPT trying to slip the tubing in the other end. Found these at the local store and thought "just what I was looking for". That thought has caused me to dig up my valve box twice. I installed these using good blue non hardening pipe dope approved for all pipes including PVC/ABS so I would not have to use a wrench to tighten and risk cracking them. First time I used a wrench to snug up the fittings. The started leaking several days later. I dug up the box to find they had split at the pipe thread. Thinking I had over tightened them I reinstalled another set hand tight. 2 weeks later I notice water in the box again. This time I find the fittings spraying a fine mist of water from numerous cracks around the FTP end . Again the second set was hand tight and our water pressure is only about 65 PSI.

Worked way better than old design!

Not easy to install. Very fustrating and not easy to attach to the pipe. Bad product by Rain Bird and for Home Depot to sell.

I have brand new 1/2 tubing. I am VERY unhappy with the inability to fit this "1/2 or 5/8 inch adapter". Not gonna work!

As others have stated they don’t work well. Waste of money and time.

As other have pointed out, this is FPT, not FHT - which is exactly what I was looking for. I would hesitate on using a tool to tighten these down. Pipe thread, by design, is tapered. On other materials and rated PVC, this isn't as much of an issue. But, on these they will split axially on the threaded section if overtightened. It will happen latently (a few months after installation). They could make these a bit more durable on the threaded portion, but these are the only 3/4“ FPT to 1/2 poly adapters they sell (might try other vendors with different brands).

I bought 2. Threads are absolute garbage. Will not screw into faucet. Buy a better brand; everything rain bird is cheap trash. I'm returning this.
