A did not work on it

I had to make modifications to the pilot assembly in order to make it fit....the item I purchased was NOT an exact fit, based on model numbers and serial numbers I used to purchase it.

The assembly is shorter and the mounting hole is off compared with the original part. The insulation come with the kit also required some cutting to fit with the original gasket. May be this part is designed to fit all the existing Rheem Gas Water Heaters sold by Home Depot, and it make the replacement more challenging.

Worked as expected,fixed the problem.

Everything I needed at hand

Product was stated explicitly to work with the model water heater we have. It was clear upon opening the package that I had gotten the incorrect product. Displeased with the application list - which cross-references the model we have as an exact fit. Much time wasted having no hot water to be delivered a useless product.

Was The Correct Part.

I ordered this product with intents and purposes to have it installed on my 3 year old water heater. Performing some research I learned that my Platinum Rheem water heater has had issues with gas control sensor. The Rheem service man tested the Milli amp read for the thermopile and determined that it was indeed gas control sensor thus as a result I returned the product. When I contacted Rheem Technical department they indicated that they did not know when they would have the part I need or if they ever would have it. He then did something very unexpected that made me a Rheem customer for life! They came out and replaced my entire water heater at NO charge! That's what I call the pinnacle of customer service!

Item was a perfect fit for my 50 gal Rheem. Very easy to swap.

Worked great and fit perfect. The part number didn't match the one I was looking for so I figured this one looked close and if anything I could at least swap parts from this one to my old one. But once I took it out the box it was exactly what I needed.

Installed easily and fixed the problem

It was what I needed it was easy to remove and easy to replace.The help I received at Home Depot to find this part was very helpful.

I’m sure the thermopile as a stand-alone product is perfectly fine, however my gas valve regulator turned out to be the problem.

The Thermopile had a wire pulled out on one end

I need return no working whint my water heater

Did not fit on the rheem water heater. Too big

Easy to install. The water heater fired right up. Just follow the directions. Also comes with some adapters that i didnt need for My Rheem tank.
