Well, we've only had it a couple of days but installation was pretty easy and so far it is working fine. Much quieter than the old one. Finding a Power Vent in my area was futile so I had to order this. The price of ordering this myself and finding a plumber to install (300) was MUCH cheaper than every quote I received from companies that wanted to sell me theirs and install it. I saved at least 500-1000.

It is a great water heater but it make a low noise when it come on and continues until the fans shuts off.

I bought the unit 4 months ago and so far working verynicely

I replaced a tank that had lasted for over 15 years, hope this one does as well. It's great having the vent fan system so easy to exit through the wall and prevent the through the roof task. This one is fully automatic in lighting and the temp. control is more easily located than the old one was. So far, I really like it.

Easy install everything hooked up good and turned on and it started right up

Fan assembly more difficult to install that it needed to be. Otherwise, a good product.

I had the hot water heater installed and it is loud when running. My old water heater I never heard, this one I hear everytime I turn on the hot water

Bought the product around a year age is working fine however; when I first installed it the relief valve would intermittently leak. I called customer support and they immediately sent me a replacement valve. No hassles. Note; it would help if the instructions for mounting the exhaust blower was a little more clear for orientation and screw holes.

this is the second unit of this type that I have owned. the first one lasted for 17 years and was trouble free. keep up the good work.

I bought this unit one year ago and love it. Very easy to install if you have a some experience installing water heaters.

This Rheem Performance power vent water heater replaced a 20 yr old unit. The power vent sound is dramatically quieter than the old one. No problem having conversations or making phone calls in my office 12 ft away from the water heater. Water heats very quickly and my family of three has never exhausted the hot water even when two showers are operating at the same time.

I have had this installed since August of 2015 and couldn't be more happy. It was easy to install and hook up. Our old water heater lasted for 14 years and hoping this one will last as long.

We like this water heater because it heats fast for dishwasher and baths.

We have had the water heater for 10 months and it has worked as advertised. No problems, keeps the water at the correct temperature and has always kept up with demand. The only issue was the poor quality installation, which was not a fault of the product.

I self installed this water heater to replace another manufacturer product which was problematic. I'm a DIY type of guy and not a pro. The installation was not too bad and the water heater is working great

Replaced a 40 gallon with Rheem 50 gallon and it out performed my expectations. Able to piggyback multiple showers without ruining out of hot water. We do use low flow shower heads but recovery time is fast and exceeded expectations.

I purchased July 2015. After 18 months, the tank failed and water was all over my utility closet. I had to pay for installation all over again after only a year an half. Only have Rheem now b/c I have to with warranty replacement

replaced an old Rudd with new Rheem. both units have power vent. New unit blower does not make as much noise as old one. Also seem to run much less must be much more efficient.

At this point, it is hard to write a review. It has been working fine for the 2-3 weeks that it has been installed. I installed it myself with no issues.

I had a AO Smith from 1991 Wanted something that was going to last and after talking to friends, went with Rheem

I purchased this heater despite the reviews of a louder than normal blower motor which turned out to be correct but I needed a replacement URGENTLY and waiting 2 weeks to order the "other " brand was not an option. So if you are in this situation and noise is REALLY a big Issue, next time I would spend the extra $$ and purchase through the plumber.

Wish it was quieter... but works great and would make the purchase again without hesitation ,

I had my Power Vent installed this past weekend and it went very smooth. Very quiet blower motor and great temperature range.

It works great and the vent motor is much quieter than the one I replaced
