Have only had it a couple of weeks, but so far, so good. It replaced a 16 Year old Noritz Tankless whih was leaking badly. Hopefully this one lasts longer, had excellent reviews.

It could be better. Takes a little too long to supply hot water to the sinks, but for the shower it’s fine.

I installed the heater and it has been doing a very good job I am hoping that I will see a reduction in my gas bill.

This unit works really well. I am very pleased with it this far. The water takes only minutes to heat up.

After spent thousands of dollars installed this unit, all I had is REGRET. Please, DO NOT get this unit. Here is my lesson learned: 1. It does NOT have re-circulation pump and wifi built-in, this means you have to wait for LONG TIME to have hot water, and wasted a lot of water. 2. You will have to spend a LOT OF money to buy external pump and controlR unit. 3. The description is super deceptive. It says re-circulation capable and wifi capable.

I installed this myself. I am a home owner, with some experience in construction, this was a pretty straightforward install. Hooked up the vents, water and gas (followed instructions and watched YouTube videos). It fired right up.. works great

Space saver and allowed more storage space

I had this professionally installed. It delivers hot water at a consistent temperature, which is a plus. But what I don't like and we have not been able to FIX is that it resonates a loud sound in the wall when the pump is on, and the pump is on often. Going to sleep at night I've resorted to putting in earplugs because the noise in the master bedroom is "startling" when the house is quiet and the pump starts up. 2nd Item, Rinnai Corp has been WORTHLESS in offering support. Worthless.

Arrived promptly, well packaged and without shipping charges. I was replacing an exisiting tankless water heater so installation was a relatively straightforward DIY project requiring basic plumbing wrenches and PEX tubing tools. $2,000 for the water heater plus $200 for tools and supplies versus $4,000 estimate from a plumber!

Straight forward installation

Installation was relatively simple - plumber was able to do this by themself. Uses pretty standard connections (3/4 inch for cold water input and hot water output). Exhaust has several options! Performance is pretty solid, though a bit on the noisier side.

Installation seemed pretty straightforward...for my plumber, that is. Only had it a week. Seems to work fine, but - based on his comments - there seems to be a few items that are rather ambiguous: 1) he installed 3/4" gas lines, but said there seemed to be an option to use 1/2", 2) the unit is in my garage, and it wasn't clear to him whether the air intake from the garage would be sufficient for the unit, versus creating venting to the outside.

This seems like a quality water heater. But there are plenty of those. I chose this model because of the advertised Rinnai Circ-Logic, the ability to add an external pump and dedicated recirculation line. I bought the heater, the pump kit, and the Control-R WiFi module, and it's been an expensive, non-working nightmare for months. Check the Rinnai app reviews on the app store before you the heater. It's embarrassing.

Rinnai Super High Efficiency Plus 10 GPM Residential 180,000 BTU Natural Gas Interior Tankless Water Heater is a wonderful unit. It works slightly differently from my previous unit did but I enjoy the way it serves my whole house needs.

Installed and working for 2 months. Uses approximately 1/2 the natural gas of a tank HWH. No problem with temperature of water. Does take about 6 seconds for unit to fire up after turning on faucet. On the plus side the unit vents directly fo outside and I do not have to worry about combustion entering the basement when the dryer is on. I would purchase again.

returned because tankless apparently has some reliability issues, had a TON of plumbers reject installation quotes because of said unreliability. overall it looked good on arrival though, so not gonna knock it really since I haven't tried it. But just be aware, you'll be looking at getting a water recirculation pump, water softener, etc.

I have had this for 2 months so far...working as advertised. It is very quiet.

This tankless water heater does exactly what I hoped, it made my wife happy because it never runs out of hot water! It doesn't take 15 seconds or so longer for hot water to appear but no complaints about that yet. A local handyman installed it in a day, with beautiful copper pipes, great all around!

It works nicely, looking forward to this lasting a few years.
